Sure he wasnt the best player going around, but he always gave his all.

And he had massive guns for a little bloke.

All the best for the future Robbo.

Doggies could be farewelling Darcy, Grant and Robbins next week.

Was he the one who got cleaned up by Holland?

Change your name to McFly!

That was Monty......he never really recovered from that bumb and was forced to retire.

I find it quite bemusing the amount of game time and games he was given this year, considering how good a year he had last year..

Cheers mate, that is the mark people will remember his career from. Funnily enough he kicked 45 goals last year in what was his best season. But with Higgins coming through this year he had to make way. Plus to be honest its about time we ditched the small forward line. Higgins needs game time so he can build the engine and move in to the midfield.

Hopefully Tony Robbins will follow suit.

Another retirement announced today, Robbins, Parker and Cook at Freo, Mahoney at Port Adelaude

More retirements to come next week. Boys it was good while it lasted . All the Best

I love that mark, a good way for him to be remembered. Handy player, but I suppose he was pushed to an extent with a focus on youth. It's probably apparent the Dogs are a couple of years off being a top 4 side, which is why he left.

The good honest players, of which Robbins and Mahoney are examples, seem to slide fairly quickly even if they're still playing good footy at 27 or 28. For good honest players to get past 30 is a massive achievement.
