Rumour going around is the senior group dont want him there after the way he treated his playing group last year.

load of bulldust, pretty sure lexton thought he was leaving then he decided to stay, lexton spent all there pennys to try and replace him which i think they have. So the big fell is pretty happy just plotting around the 2's with his brother , His partner is playing netball, so he couldn't be happier having a few frophies wacthing his mates in the 1's. But who knows he might play by the end of the year:confused:

Look out for trenthams latest recruit Sean Schumacher.. He is a massive unit and one of the quickest players this league has seen. Put on a display in his first game back from a season of body building and is set to tear teams apart..

I am a bit perplexed by the choice of venues for the upcoming Interleague match.

In a game where both leagues are highlighting their best players, surely this game should be played at one of the major venues in Bendigo.

Why couldn’t it have been played at the QEO on Sunday?

And as the only game in the district on that day, would attract heaps more spectators than it will at Backhaus Oval, and would be far more comfortable..

Could anybody give me any info regarding an Aaron Carr from Carisbrook, how does he go as a footballer?

Plays 2's in the MCDFL, how much of an analysis of his game do you need? That alone probably means he will move on, which is probably why you're asking. He might get a consistent game with a lower MCDFL/LVFL club, though would struggle in HDFL/CHFL.

Just heard the press machines at all regional printing agencys are roasting with the possible innuendo that Craig 'U-turnin" burn has signed a clearence to return as the spirtual leader of Dunolly. Local engineering business's have been sort to reconstruct the canvas stretcher into a more permanate, viable apparatus

Very disappointing to see Brendon Hedger did his knee again yesterday in his first game back.
Has hung up the boots!
Yes, that's very bad news Bucko. Shame to see a talented young bloke's football life so interrupted by injury. Hopefully he may be able to pull the boots on again one day down the track.

Just a question from someone who doesn't know a lot about footy in this area. Which league is stronger MCDFL or Central Highlands FL? Cheers.

So you ask on this page which league is stronger out of MCDFL or Central Highlands and on the Central Highlands you are asking who shells out the most coin. Will you be asking who shells out the most coin in this league too?

In answering to your question though, Central Highlands is a fair bit stronger in my opinion. Closer to Ballarat means they have a greater drawing power to those players and their bank balances are probably a fair bit higher also.

Apparently played seniors for North Bendigo Saturday and played good out at Colbo on the big ground:confused: That's if it is the same bloke.

Can't see his name in the best anywhere?

Trentham
Best Players: B. Turner, M. Riches, T. Priest, N. Montague, B. Kelly
Carisbrook
Best Players: X. Long, J. Anderson, J. GRAY, B. Kick, J. Bucknall

Not sure what cousin ben is on about, Carry only played 2's at brook through not training and having too big of a social life off the park. Extremely quick and heaps of ability, just have to keep him interested and out of huha/revolver and he will be a good player for North Bendigo. Just because someone doesnt play in the, "major league" at Maryborough doesnt mean theyre no good.

Oh, here we go. Little man's syndrome. Try and rip down those from the levels above. I bet you're just like anyone else in calling certain AFL footballers "useless", but when it come to MCDFL reserves, they're worth fighting for.

I was careful not to say the lad was "no good" as you put it. The fact that he's in the 2's at all would indicate he is no Nathan Buckley. There are some unfit, overweight, lazy, and unco-ordinated blokes running round in senior MCDFL, so if someone partakes in a bit of night life it shouldn't mean they can't play senior football there.

You don't think he's the first Carisbrook player to enjoy a beer during the week?

Yep, same bloke. As anticipated, he has moved on.

That club will hardly help his cause though.

Few big games coming up this weekend:
Maldon v Harcourt- Oxley will give first use which is critical on a tiny ground.
Brook v Natte- Been solid all year and could cause an upset.
Dunolly v Trentham- Should be good enough at home.
Rovers v Newstead- Coming off a good win and on the improve.

Just had a look through the draw to see how sides might end up... My guess for ladder:

1. Lexton- 14 wins, 2 losses
2. Brook- 12 wins, 3 losses and a draw
3. Navarre- 12 wins, 4 losses
4. Dunolly- 11 wins, 5 losses
5. Maldon- 10 wins, 6 losses
6. Harcourt- 10 wins, 6 losses
7. Natte- 10 wins, 6 losses
8. Newstead- 9 wins, 6 losses and a draw

9. Rovers- 9 wins, 7 losses
10. Trentham- 8 wins, 8 losses

Think it will be tight but unless Rovers can win some games against:Newstead, Harcourt, Dunolly and Natte they will miss out. Trentham will need to hope they upset a few sides at home to be any chance as they have a pretty tough draw.
