IMO Corey would have been a gun ruckman (in the mould of Adam Goodes) if he was under the right coach. A B&F in his only year away from Pagan is more than just a coincidence methinks.
i dont buy that argument, as he almost won a brownlow medal...yes, you guessed it, whilst pagan was coach!! he is past it and should return to north to offer his wisdom in the coaching department. i would hate to see him disgrace himself again so that we end up forgetting how good he really was.

the truth behind coreys strange form is moe to do with his drinking than any affects pagan may of had on him.

the loss of the brownlow was the actual start of it all.

Give it time but once all the tradition has been eradicated from the game they will award Brownlows to guys like McKernan and Grant etc. soft suspensions like that pfft.

After seeing Leppitch's knees in the back of Brett Burton and no report, well it was a virtual template of Corey's "indiscretion" on Barnes in'96 and I think he should get a retrospective Brownlow if that's no longer a reportable offence! Grant's would be a little awkward as he polled more votes than Robert Harvey so they would virtually be taking the Brownlow off Harvey and I doubt they'd do that.

Just with Corey, he isnt 30 yet, and is a confidence player. We all know he looks after himself in terms of work rate on the track and all, and if anyone would make blokes run throuigh walls for them(like he did) and install confidence in a player(ie shannon watt / harro) then dean laidley is the man. i'd personally be all fro Corey back home at the roos nexy year. Wouldnt be giving too much up for himthough, and i think that JYD would probaly think that he can get it out of him, as he saw it first hand as a player at his peak.

That said talking to a reliable source, he said that he was hanging **** on corza pre season about getting dennis at carlton, and although corey said he was fine with it, he could tell that he wasnt cause he reckoned that dennis farked up corey cause he was so much in his head didnt know yay from nay. Then he puts in a season like this again. It is possible, not that i have heard anything about a trade that would sound half realistic. No was Digby and teagy for mckernan, no way....
