McLeod goal celebration

Hi all. Firstly, sorry to post on another teams board.

McLeod is one of my all time favourite players and watched him closely since he turned Jenke inside out and kicked the winner against us when he was a teenager.

What I'm after is what game was it when he celebrated a goal doing a facewashing motion. I think it was in the last quarter of a game kicking towards the left of the tv screen. I've looked up several of his goals but can't find the celebration. I thought it was incredibly 'cool' and would love if someone knew what I'm talking about and the game that he did it.

I should know this....... but I don't.

For some reason though, two games are ringing a bell. Round 4, 2004, v St Kilda. And Round 18, 2004, v North Melbourne. In both games I'm pretty sure he kicked a late goal toward the Northern End, and there were celebrations involved.

Don't quote me on this, because I could be wrong.

I'm kind of partial to his 97 and 98 Norm Smith's to be honest.

What a goal that was too. How effortless was he on his opposite side? Not many players have made it look easier than he did.

I went to that game. Edwards had a massive second half, it seemed like every centre clearance was his ( he must of had at least 10 in the second half. The Carlton supporters were going ballistic behind me, every centre bounce they were screaming for someone to man him up and as the ball got tapped, he'd not only get it but take a bounce or two

It actually doesn't get any better than this. Game in the balance, hard up against the boundary, wrong side. Degree of difficulty for a mere mortal is off the charts here.

Was at this game.. If you could hear the Blues fans on radio crying about Waite being penalised for punching that ball away that had already gone through for a goal..
