No, I'm saying their inclination may well be not to tread on each other's toes.

Was going to ask this, what is the set up going to be like? Is one of them solely going to be focused on a certain aspect of the game? Is their a head ump? It may be a dead rubber but it's still a game for premiership points, just bizarre that they're trialing it in one game in one round. WTF AFL?

When the third umpire was brought in (in 1994) to catch all those 'behind the play' infringements that were being missed, free kicks went down from 26.4 to 21.6 per team per game; hint: and it wasn't because players suddenly stopped scragging because there was an extra set of eyes on them.
Worth noting... http://wwos.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=9012228

year - av frees per game

2012 - 37.8
2013 - 36.2
2014 - 33.4
2015 - 36 -- to round 17

2015

14 - 30.2
15 - 35.2
16 - 36.4

NAB - 2015 trial 4 umps... was this for every game???
27 games
37.6 frees per game on average and played over less minutes [should be up lots of rookies/heat?]

What's the bet that two of them will be my personal "favorites"?

Jordan Bannister and Leigh Fisher.

I can hardly wait.
Nah, too much experience.
We have copped Nick Foot a few times this year (spud) and must be due for another dose of O'Gorman (even spuddlier).
Things are rough when you start wishing we could get Pannell or Nicholls back.

Lol, I said Nicholls back.

Come off it. More umpires than anyone else, they'll be talking about our game all week.
Umps will have to collaborate re Brownlow votes? Or will they scissor/paper/rock and one gets not to vote?

Looks like our last home game of the season will be a Saturday arvo - glad the AFL reckons the Pies are cooked for this season

Bulldogs?....AFL probably thinks playing us will give the doggies a good kick off into the finals. Make it easy for them.

Hmmmm. Hope we kick them to the schizenhausen, never to be seen again. ...and Lewy makes Bomts (or whatever his name is) look like a scared little school boy wetting his pants!....

I predict that round 23 will break attendance records.

Specifically, the record for the lowest ever attendance at Etihad Stadium will be broken by the Melbourne-GWS game.
