I'm not sure what the win is in this rather bizarre take on this affair...

Yep, its a dense convoluted mess.

This article from AAP makes more sense.

After seeing this I’ve got a deeper respect for all those employees at The Daily Planet who are successfully whamboozled by a pair of glasses.

If I hadn’t peeped the accompanying text, I’d have guessed “the COO of Paramount Browns?”, before landing anywhere near a correct ID.

Looking at those pieces side-by-side really shows how bad a job the Daily Mail does in presenting news. Almost every change they made to the original piece makes it worse (eg changing 'Magistrate', which is correct, to 'Judge').

The Daily Mail doesn't make those changes.

The Daily Mail and AAP articles are identical.
The changes are made by James on nybreaking including things like referring to Thomas as a soccer player.

I lasted a couple of minutes of Kornes giving the bulldogs coach the bake of the millenium on Footy Classified last night, before getting bored and switching channels to watch the 4 millionth repeat of an episode of Wheeler Dealers.

I have no problem with him calling out Beveridge's perceived deficiencies, but Why The F*** is he so completely incapable of judging kern by those same `lofty' standards?

Re the joke that after match press conferences have become, they are now about as hard hitting as Molly Meldrum fawning over some one hit wonder on Countdown back in the 80's.
Big Brane Kain.

Watched some of the analysis of last weekends game on "On the Couch" and Bucks was highlighting different passages of play. In one passage of play I reckon I saw about 3 or 4 free kicks we didn't get. Unreal.

Exactly, it is not so much the frees they gave to Collingwood, which is always a subjective opinion .... It is how blatant they were in not giving the same & similar frees to Port.

They're not accountable in the slightest though. The media are too afraid to call anything out, there's no upside for them, so they just completely ignore it. As good as Collingwood were and as bad as we were, it's so frustrating to watch this 'fantastic play' being pointed out on shows like that and blatant missed frees go completely unmentioned.

To add to this though.... I always find we are horrible at adapting to the interpretation of the day. Watching that footage, Collingwood held onto the ball until a good option presented, they scragged us and leaned into us in what should have been 'in the back' calls. So we just continue to panic and cough it up instead of playing to the whistle. When you can see that the read of the day is to let the play go a bit, we need to adapt and take it on.

why did he take a footy to their romantic picnic? he's gotta learn to seperate work from home
There are more important things than footy. Looks like Nicks skipped some of Hinkley's lessons.

That's my fault for not reading the link of the first article and relying on the references to the DM in it.

TBH I thought it was Tom Jonas

Sent from my SM-G986B using Tapatalk
Jonas doesn't even touch the football during a football game, let alone a picnic.
