No one will convince me that the fertiliser does not store up some 'LOL Port' articles for times where Port is up, and cows are down.

Not just the paper, but 5 double crow too.

Listening on drive home to see if I can win on the Power flight to Victoria this weekend, and they were discussing the McAdam hit.
Well shock horror, even with Tim Ginever and Warren Tredrea hosting, they still get a Crows nuffie who was rabbiting on about when Rory Sloane got his first suspension for an incident with Brett Ebert, and it was actually Port's fault because she knew that Ebert had been previously concussed and Port never took him off the ground. She's watched in "thousands of times' on TV replay apparently.

Surely these people are lined up to tell stories like that, seriously who actually calls up to whinge about Port on a subject like this.

That was Rosemary. I haven’t listened to that show for years now, just listening while Tredders is on, but she’s been calling them forever, die-hard crow/Port are the devil incarnate person. That call was her to a T.

find every afl player past and present that looks like JHF and Bergman and make a squad of 22.

I could forgive it in a play by play commentary but surely a still photo where you could just verify it with a number of sources, before you printed would be a minimum. I wouldn't forgive my year 6 students for such a stupid mistake and they don't get paid for it.

Yeah I listened to 5AA for first time in ages this week and even though it was nice to hear two Port supporters for a change they did seem to spend a lot of time talking about the Crows, and rather optimistically. Did they have to sell their soul to get the gig?
Very disappointing.

I have listened, for a while, most nights since Tredders has been on, and actually found it fairly balanced, as it should always be. I think some of the reason there was a lot of crows talk was because of all the drama over the McAdam saga. Once Rowe is back, next week I think, I probably won’t bother though.

1. 5AA is broadcast in South Australia
2. The Camry Crows are the team of all South Australians

QED

It just would have been nice if it swung back our way even slightly…just for once.

The media asking Ken for his views on Collingwood fans booing a Port player is sadly typical of the lack of media pressure applied to him despite being a failure as a coach. Whatever journalist asked that question should be sacked together with Hinkley.

It was the weakest post 70 point loss press conference in history.

I gave this a like but I haven't seen the press conference as I can't stomach watching him after a loss like that.

It's full of denial, buzzwords, arrogance, ignornace and a very new age progressive softness that has no place being a part of a professional sporting club no matter how much Koch/Richo/Davies and Hinkley push that agenda.

I’ll take the “like” 😀

Seriously, I was referring as much to the questions the media asked him about the game as his responses.

They gave him “outs” by asking about:
1. Rozee and Lycett injuries instead of their respective performances, Lycett especially
2. What makes Collingwood stand out as such a good team?
3. Showdown week with us wearing the prison bars.
4. JHF and crowd booing

For a 6 min press conference, that left about two questions about the performance to which we were told that it was a great learning opportunity against a benchmark of the competition.

I was just impressed that Ken didn’t get the word “oppo” in - my least favourite new age footy term.

That wouldn't surprise me in the least.

I have never seen a coach have such protection from the media in general, it's like they have all been given a directive to go down a specific path and it's all about protecting and enhancing the reputation and myth of Hinkley.

It defies logic.

I can't stand watching his pressers either. He makes me physically ill. Did he slot in 'we looking forward to the oppotunity.......'. I'd be disappointed if he didn't.

Win, lose or draw, I haven't watched an aftermatch presser for at least a year. I just find that he has nothing enlightening or interesting to say these days. Probably not surprising after 11 season's worth of games.

As I’ve noted before, when’s the last time he said anything that spoke to or revealed a special footy knowledge that we plebs could only dream of comprehending?

He’s barely one level removed from Knuckles’ “hit the bloody contest hard” doctrine.
