That's what they said at the end of 2004.

Douglas, Knights, van Berlo, Porplyzia, Thompson, Rutten, Johncock, Pfeiffer, Maric, Meesen, Vince, Bock, Stevens, Mattner, Reilly.

All 23 and under.

Gee future looks grim indeed

I'm sure you can't wait. I mean if I didn't have a life, that's what I would be looking forward to as well.

"I'm gonna show it to that dude on that forum, YEAH".

Simply naming players under 23 doesn’t mean much. The crows have a couple of promising kids but they will hope to trade for good picks in the not too distant future.

One positive is Craigs uncanny ability to get this most out of seemingly ordinary players, nonetheless the crows are at 1'oclock on the premiership clock.

Should make the 8 again next year but a top 4 spot is neccessary for a solid finals crack, especially if the interstate dominance is continued. Won't loose many big name players for next year. It is the year after when Neitz, White and Yze will be really looked at but next year still holds a lot of promise for Melbourne, perhaps even more than this year.

Dissapointing year but I'd have said losing to St. Kilda would have been a wasted year. At Least we improved on the previous year...something we failed to do in 05.

Future looks good for the dees i must say. Good group of young players coming through. Plenty of good experienced players.
The 2 losses to carlton really hurt in the end. Could have had a double chance by winning both of those games.

yeah very costly. Our other loses were to good teams. Dogs (at the dome where we suck), Crows (nearly beat em at Carrara, different story if MCG was available), Swans (nearly premiership favourites), Eagles (great at subi), Dockers (great at subi X 2)

Which proves you aren't good enough :)

but we did beat Sydney, Dogs and Dockers once as well and weren't able to play WCE or Adel at the MCG. Plus against Syd we were missing Johnstone, Davey, Pickett, Whelan, Robbo, Sylvia and Moloney (and Bruce was clearly unfit) - not easy to win when you are missing players of that quality against a good side.

We will be top 4 next year. Only two of our player had stand out years (Neitz and McDonald). We have plenty of young guys in the team (Bartram, McLean, Sylvia, Bell, Bate, Jones, Dunn, Chris Johnson etc as well as Moloney who was injured almost all year) that have shown signs that they will be very good players and should improve a great deal with another preseason.
The players named above as well as Rivers, Davey, Miller, paul Johnson and Jamar are all 23 and under. I'm very confident we will improve next year and give the flag a shake.

van Berlo would have kicked it over his head with his left foot, off the grandstand, off the scoreboard, off some fat guys breasts in the crowd, off goldspink's head through for a goal..... nothing but net

We'll see next week...we all know how he fared last week :)

Dude you may pay out melb having another year "wasted" and yes your crows may actually win the cup, but jokes on you. When you and your bogan mates wake up the day after the grand final and realise you still live in adelaide.
