On a serious note, the performance is just abysmal.
No honour. No intensity. Just nothing. Magner, Trengove and Watts can hold their heads high. Credit to Brisbane and Voss though. Playing good footy.

EFA.

But yeah, the very least that should be expected of any professional AFL player is a consistent workrate for four quarters.

When that effort isn't there from various players, as was so lacking from senior players like Green, Davey and Moloney today, there is no excuse. Absolutely no excuse for that. And I know I speak for Demons supporters as a whole on this. Nobody would disagree.

The trouble is, we've seen this sort of appalling display happening over and over for too long now. Patience is clearly wearing thin for most of us. I know it sure as hell is for me.

probably an expected outcome.

When have melbourne ever stood up and showed some guts or commitment?

They've never really been a club who looks like threatening, and a soul less effort is usually what they dish up anyway

Revolutionary young captains certainly came to the fore...

I'm sure we can find a microwave to lend you, I hear they come in handy at times like these ;)

No wonder $cully left.

Dees will do about as well as Greater Western Sydney anyway.

What a shit club.

Rumour is fact. Scully actually paid to leave them.

For the first time since I left Melbourne I am actually happy to be in brisvegas. I'd be embarrassed to live in a city with that name.

They are a terrible football team. Not enough D's to describe how dreadful. Do yourselves a favour. Change the name of the capital city to Hawthorn

It's tempting to put the boot into Melbourne but I won't.

Emotion can only take your team so far. At some point skill has to come into it. We also forget how bad the 186 game was and the players for the Demons who failed that day and also failed today.

Brisbane on the other hand were in a no lose position. If they lost, there was the overflow of emotion and it was"okay", if they won well they deserved it.

So the Melbourne players fudged it.

Here's what I would do if I was Neeld. I would tell Lyon, Schwarz , Cuddles and Schwab to f--- off and let him do his job. Melbourne has been an extension of the old boys club for too long. neeld should tell them he holds the reins not the blokes who were there during the 186 game,

I would put a line through some of the older players like 186 Green and send them to Casey for 3 months regardless of form.

I would persist with Jacqueline Watts and other young players. What has Neeld to lose by playing Watts and others and hope that away from 186 Green and others they may grow some b-lls. If they lose they get games into the kids.If the kids are no good, the club knows it now.

I would suspend Jurrah forthwith and send him to Casey. All the sh-t around Jurrah's NT exploits put unwelcome attention onto Melbourne when they did not need it.Suspending Jurrah would send a statement to the players that Melbourne did not need the adverse attention of players playing up ( similar to what Geelong did to SJ).

Seriously, although Melbourne are a mirthful side, the soap opera that is Melbourne football club cannot continue much longer.

I would apologise to Mrs Stynes for that miserable performance.

No doubt TMB and otherswill lambast me, but WTF, laughing at the misery that is MFC will not achieve a damn thing.

What's it like going for Melbourne? I'd rather be shot in the face.
