Memberships Membership Renewal 2022

Currently a GA member, do people think similar to the last couple of years that GA members will get access to reserved seats every game? There's a group of us considering upgrading to fixed seats but we are happy to pay the lower price of $270 if it means we get seats every week.

Given the covid situation and people giving up their memberships, it seems like this might be the case.

If they're available they're probably garbage!

I've been trying to upgrade seats for years with no luck. Really need Covid to crank things up a notch

I've just checked with AO they are ok. Pretty much were I reserve seats normally.


Happy days, no more sitting at the Oval 3 hours from kickoff

We're contemplating putting our names down to upgrade seats, but given where we want to go I expect that we'll never get them anyway.
 
Due to work commitments my son and I will only be getting 3 game memberships. Not expecting much but can't wait to watch the young kids develop. Watching a potential A grade young midfielder would have been nice but hopefully (has to be) the 2022 draft.
 
Must say I do feel like telling them they can stick their membership. I have gone to the footy with the same 3 mates for 12 years now. 1 has dropped to a 3 game membership due to work commitments and the other 2 arent vaccinated so arent allowed in the oval, even though there is no evidence to support that being unvaxxed means you can transmit the virus to more people. I tried to move to another area where another friend is, but apparently there is a 2 to 4 year waiting list... The vaccine mandate really puts me off wanting to attend the footy

To paraphrase Sanders, no one said the world was fair. Sounds like your mates made a choice and that choice has impacted you. That sucks.

Hopefully there won't be any vaccine mandate in 2023.
 
Has there been anything official from the club regarding vaccination status?

I'm vaxxed up to my eyeballs but the person I sit with isn't. Nothing from the club about it as far as I can see (at least in communication direct from them).

All I remember is the AO requirements on the news and that was late last year.

Unless you hear AO has changed their position that’s the requirement.

If the zoo are requiring vaxx so you don't infect the pandas, then I expect Adelaide Oval won't let you in without a vaccination.

If you have Covid and wear a 1-ply pantyhose mask, they won't stop you. But if you're covid-free, take your negative RAT with you and promise to do one at the end of each quarter, wear head-to-toe PPE but don't have a vaccination, sorry ... you're too much of a risk.

I went the digital membership (and got one of the Pride t-shirts with my Crowmania voucher - providing they actually post it out and not just cancel the order after a month). My partner became a first time member this year and the club automatically gave him a physical membership. Looking forward to checking the scarf out when it arrives.

Wow it is almost like Vax status is easy to check and your ridiculous scenario would be an administrative nightmare.
