I'm the complete opposite, the people around us generally hate my mate and I.

One of the women who sits in front of us once told my wife that we're too blunt, too negative towards certain players and we spend too much of the game over analysing it.
Were you that dude I was sitting in front for a game in 2020 when seats were always different where the guys wife got so tired after 90 minutes of "Even I could have kicked/marked/done that" snapped at him "No you couldn't, you're shit at football" ?

That was probably me...... Lol

Membership got back to me after I emailed them about not received scarf. They said as my gold membership is connected to my Sma membership I get a cooler bag but no scarf.

No more a nightmare than checking someones vaccination status every time they enter a venue.
Well, they check a vaccination status. I know from an Adelaide Oval covid marshall that they havent been instructed to compare vaccine status details to any form of ID to ensure its not just a screenshot of someone elses vaccine evidence, and they havent been instructed to challenge dodgy vaccine certificates from obscure countries around the world. At this stage seems you can use anyones screenshot.

Wanted to change my seats and the window opened this morning. Clicked on the link and found it wouldn't let me change the group I'm in - just my individual seat.

Suggested on the webpage to ring the membership services number if your seat was part of a group... yikes.

Did that and was on hold for ages, fuming that I'd miss out on seats because of this delay.

Finally got through... and they couldn't have been more helpful. Instantly changed my seats over to where I wanted. Able to change the whole group. Done straight away. You beauty!
What is this magical seat moving link you speak of?

They don’t care. The vax rule is just to maximise the crowd they’re allowed. No serious business does any more than the absolute minimum when it comes to covid rules.

Its a sunk cost insurance policy
I'm the same, I pay on the 10 month instalments so it's a $6 per fortnight insurance policy.

I had gold during the mid 2000s, but went back to silver about 2010.

2012 showed that things can turn quickly and after almost making a GF that year I decided that I wanted to avoid the scramble for GF tickets as a silver member so after that season I've been gold ever since.

I still remember in 2005 we were wooden spoon favourites (poor 2004, aging list)
So when I moved to Adelaide (2008) and got my season ticket (2009) I went straight to gold there and then.

I've been gold since I had to pay $1380 for a 2017 GF ticket

Yep, black market standing room tickets in 2017 were going for $2k + with no guarantee of their authenticity until you scan the barcode on the day

I thought Jenny lived in Queensland?

I live interstate and so am looking at an interstate membership. the interstate membership lets you access up to 3 games at AO per annum, subject to capacity. I will be in Adelaide in April. What do you reckon the chances of being able to get a seat at AO for the Richmond game?

All comes down to Tsar Nicola.
100% capacity and I'd say no question you'll have a ticket
Restricted seating like the past 2 years? Yeah, idk. Depends how the club lets us get tickets.

I think you’ll be fine. Even in reduced capacity it was reasonably easy to get a reserved seat upgrading a 3-game pass.

I've been Silver since 97 up to 05 (with my parents), had a break because I was a poor Uni student but was back on board as a Silver member 09 till now (with my partner), I got Grandfinal tickets to 97,98 and 17

I never use ours, AO memberships so not seated though. If you have no luck I can PM them to you.
