Membership Update 2009

Really need to start getting those numbers up. Essendon are up over 26,000 and Hawthorn over 30,000. Anything below 40,000 in 2009 would be very disappointing.

Hawthorn are flying, so you would expect them to be up and about with their membership numbers. As for Essendon, they count all their members that selected to be renew automatically from 2008, even if they haven't yet renewed their membership for 2009. You will find that their membership numbers will slow down dramatically once the NAB Cup is underway.

Why is the Carlton Membership Department so incompetent?

In early November, I upgraded my membership from Premium Gold to Captains Club Premium Gold and requested a slight change to my reserved seat at the G.

I checked my statement this morning and they debited my account in November which is fine. When I checked the amount, they have only debited the amount for a Premium Gold despite my request to upgrade.

I emailed them this morning and alerted them to it and they have now fixed it but every year I have an issue with them.

Tip to all - check your membership to ensure you are getting what you have requested before it's too late, especially those with a reserved seat or have requested a change to their reserved seating. They are starting the allocation of reserved seating this week so do it quickly!

^That doesnt sound too good, i have requested a seat change for this year as well, iam hoping they dont stuff it up as ive had some bad experiences with our membership department in the last couple of years.

Took your advice and spoke to them and apparently they are not doing the seating arrangement till next next,she said there was not much they could do atm,so Iam really hoping they dont stuff up....again!

I gave them my credit card details in early-mid December and they only just charged the card yesterday. And yep, no poster yet...
