Couldn't find a thread for this so thought I could start the discussion for all things membership.

Can anyone tell me how to view/look at upgrades for my seats, the hub seems to have very little options (can't even find a section that has info like where my seats are ect)

Try ringing the club and have the map of the stadium open at the same time. Membership team is very helpful.

Yeah they’re good value - sat there for 20 mins looking at adjusting my seat location.. in the end I just stayed.

Keen to know what our membership number is… would be good to track the number here

The club are tracking it on their website home page - currently sitting at 31,885.

How do you think tickets will work while capacity is 50%? First in first served?

Also, do we get a team store voucher with membership this year?

I think Simon Garlick mentioned something about this in his members q&a. @ 75% you’d get your reserved seat, @ 50% you’ll get in but no guarantee of your reserved seat.

If we want to be a powerhouse they need a whole new crew in membership.
Every year I have troubles
pre covid I didn’t get my card in time and they failed to have a dockers tent @ first game even though I was told to go to said tent to sort it had to buy a ticket told freo about it , unlucky the response.
This year I got a junior membership for my son in November to give to him for his birthday in January and the poor fella is still waiting in March.
My wife and daughter are dog members and I actually have to buy merch of eBay because the club charges hefty postage to its members and he wants to be a dog after the way they’re looked after.( his 5)
I could list another half a dozen gripes .
I’m a long time supporter so all I can do is send whinge emails that fall on def ears but any new members would just walk away.
Vic club members I know pay pittance and get red carpet rolled out for them.

ok, I see in melbs people are complaining about the digital cards this season.
Just means you need your phone, which is going to be the new normal unfortunately.
The $30 is a gimmick no doubt.
As an aside, I've always found the membership dept good to deal with

Got this email today

Hi ,

I hope you are keeping safe and well as the presence of Covid-19 in our community starts to increase.

Today, the State’s transition to Level 2 Restrictions commenced and I’d like to update you as best I can on how the new requirements may impact you as a member.

After we open our 2022 Toyota AFL Premiership season in Adelaide in round one, our first home game will be at Optus Stadium against St Kilda on Sunday 27 March.

This match will be played at 50 per cent spectator capacity and all game access members will be able to access the match. The main implication to reserved seat members is that due to social distancing requirements, alternate seating will need to be allocated via a registration process.

While it’s not ideal our members can’t have access to their regular reserved seat, I hope you are looking forward to being able to attend and cheer on the players as they take to the field in front of the Purple Army for the first time in 2022.

We will spend the coming week confirming details of the ticketing process with the AFL, Ticketmaster and Venues Live and our Membership Services Team will communicate with you accordingly once finalised.

It is our understanding that the Government will be reviewing these conditions on a weekly basis and we are hopeful that these arrangements will only be in place for round 2.

Please continue to keep your eyes on your inbox, and across our digital platforms, as we keep you up to date ahead of the AFL season kicking off.

While these temporary conditions make things slightly more complicated than we would all like, the positive is that we have the surety of knowing we will be playing all 11 games at Optus as scheduled in 2022.

The impending finals appearance for our W team and the promise being shown by our AFL squad is setting up an exciting March and April for the Purple Army and we look forward to seeing you at the footy!

Email from the club:

Due to the WA Government’s Level 2 public health measures, our first home game of the season in round 2 against St Kilda will be played with 50 per cent capacity at Optus Stadium. Unfortunately, the reduced capacity and social distancing requirements for the game mean you won’t have access to your regular reserved seat and will need to be allocated alternate seating via a ticket redemption process with Ticketmaster. Our focus is on putting measures in place that best enable our members the chance to obtain a seat within a similar category, or on the same level as their current reserved seat.

At this stage, it is only round 2 that is impacted by the 50 per cent capacity and we are hopeful that when public health measures are reviewed in the coming weeks, our round 4 game against GWS will be played at a higher spectator capacity. We anticipate that all game access members who wish to attend the round 2 Saints clash will be able to do so, therefore members who choose not to attend will not be eligible for a credit or refund.

HOW TO ACCESS ROUND 2

The reduced capacity and social distancing requirements (including keeping every second row vacant) unfortunately means that our members won’t have access to their regular reserved seat and there will need to be a ticket redemption process through Ticketmaster.

Member ticket redemptions will take place next Tuesday 22 March using your member barcode/s. These barcodes will be sent to you on Monday 21 March, along with a specific redemption timeslot based on your current reserved seat location. This timeslot will give you the best chance to secure seating in a similar category, or similar level, to your current seat/s.

One barcode will be provided per game access membership and one barcode allows for one free ticket redemption. You will not incur any costs to redeem a ticket.

You will be able to use multiple barcodes in one transaction to allow you to sit with family and friends (up to a maximum of 8 per transaction). We encourage you to communicate with your fellow members prior to redemption's commencing. If you wish to sit with members who have a different redemption timeslot you must redeem at the later timeslot.

Please note with the redemption timeslots, they are based on maximising our members’ chances of accessing seating similar to their current seating category, or level of their seat/s. While our best efforts have been made to look after our members and their preferences, we are unable to offer any guarantees with the seating allocation process.

We understand this process is not ideal and we thank you for your ongoing understanding, patience and support. As mentioned earlier, we are hopeful that this process will only be required for round 2 before resuming with our regular match day seating allocations in round 4.

Of all the days, Tuesday is the worst for me, in terms of being free to focus on this. I bet my window is smack bang in the two hour period that I most definitely cannot be online for.

Gaaaahhhhh! Priority window is precisely the moment when I'm supposed to be somewhere other than sitting at my computer.
