9 and a half months from the injury given that he returned from the original knee in 8 and a half and he has had no issue with that knee so with a extra month on top of that should see our Denzel back bigger and better than ever

So psyched to hear this news today! Can't wait to see the kid back on the park. Our forward line will be that much better with Menzel back in the mix. I am a touch terrified of an injury reccurrance though, seeing as so the previous ACL was seemingly so innocuous. Will be holding my breath everytime he gets near the ball in the first game back. I'm sure the docs will make sure he's 150% right to go though.

Another reason to look forward to next year!

MENZELLLL!

Menzel Hawkins Chapman
Johnson Pods Varcoe

In the words of Bruce...........DELICIOUS

You could rotate another 4 players through there and lose no potency.
Say it with me, most dangerous forward in the AFL!
Oh also great news, last time I saw him he looked great and I have no doubt he will play a big roll next year, I'm expecting an 18 game/35-40 goal a year from him.
Will not miss a beat.
The kid has super duper star all over him!

Have they improved the rehabilitation with these knee injuries? players seem to be able get back nearly all of their original mobility these days don't they?

I'd play him in the seniors, might get the sub vest a bit in the early games.

Is he the Board's favourite player or what? I know he's mine.

WELCOME BACK MENZ YOU BEAUTIFUL MAN

T-Bone Hawkins has him covered I reckon.
I know for mine he's 4th or so on the man love stakes behind hawk, selwood, Stevie and equal with Duncan and bundy.

I was lucky enough to watch him doing his run-throughs yesterday from the empty social club stand. Felt compelled to remind him that all the hard yards he was putting in was gunna be worth it as he came to the fence. I'm desperate for this kid to get some luck to match his talent and effort.
