Keith likes axes. And taking to the media with them.

I'll admit to being initially suspicious of KT's appointment but he has pretty much dispelled those suspicions with his actions so far.
He's doing a good job, every box being ticked. However everything up to the Adelaide Oval deal is like a subject at school where all the assignments during the term count for 20% and the exam for 80%. **** up the exam and it doesn't matter how good you did earlier. Nail the exam though and that earlier work pushes you up to being a genius.

Doesn't mean they aren't thinking about it now. ;)

Exactamuno. Look at the wording, it specifically relates to 2010, not now.

Now boys, I have it on very good authority that FALLOON HAS ALREADY BEEN TOLD HE WILL NOT BE AT PORT ADELAIDE NEXT YEAR.

No word on Rhode unfortunately.

On this did anybody else hear Basset on the weekend say that he's seen the proposed model for AO?? He went on to say that the AFL clubs would be very happy with it. They went straight off the topic once he said it, I tried ringing to get him to elaborate but couldn't get through. Might try again this week.

I agree with that. My point was that he is doing better than I had originally expected.

Gen Y is unfamiliar with this concept;)

Leaves me wondering why Bassett had seen it and who'd shown it to him.....Possibly a former Norwood man, now Port Adelaide CEO pitching a bright future to a prospective AFL coach?

Stop it, you're making me wet.

I wouldn't mind if he's pitching a succession plan. Eade and Bassett and bassett to take the reigns after 4 - 5 as an assitant or something

4-5 years is a very long time to wait and also a long time to show you may not get the job by then due to not being up to it!

2-3 would be absolute max IMO. Buckley had to wait 2 seasons didn't he?

Choco was getting restless after 2 also!

I don't think you can come up with a succession plan until you have a successful program. I'd prefer not to think that far ahead. Get a coach and give him what he needs to succeed. Any coach coming along just to spend a year or two before handing over isn't ambitious enough for me.

yeah but I'm hoping you'd point at the Roos Longmuire combo and how successful that succession has been

Was that always a succession plan? Or did Roo's decide he had enough and was humble enough to give all his IP to Longmuire so he could be successful? I would suggest that was only a 1 or 2 year plan once Roo's made his decision. I don't think it was planned right at the beginning, but I like the way your thinking :)

I got the feeling he wanted in because not once did he refer to us as port power, which must've been hard for old mate Nath.

I'm confused what is this "man love" thingy you are all carrying on about?

It's a step down from a Crows supporter's insta-boner for Dangerfield

Roos does not have an apostrophe in his surname just because it ends in 'S'. No one does. Jesu's o_O

The ferrets arse @michelangeloruc hits back:-

Maybe "did not challenge content" = did not give you the time of day.

Rucci is a child and this tweet, amongst other things, proves it.
