It's not a competition between the two. Short term Deng is the best we will do, but I don't particularly want a long commitment to him.
We are a disgraceful team on the boards so anyone out there who can help in that regard, even off the bench, I welcome.

I wasn't comparing the two against each other. I like Deng and think he is a great player, just didn't work out on the Cleveland system. Humphries is just an overpaid flog that is only famous cause he dated a whale

From what I've seen of Deng, he seems inconsistent, but I don't rate Humphries at all. His fame has upped his price and good on him for that but not worth a big price, considering the deal we gave Bosh...

Surely Spo will want to get game time into Napier quite a bit. Hope we see less of Rio this season, my head can't take it.

Rubbish. Humphries actually had a good season about two years ago. Since then he has been stuck in some tough situations with a limited role. You could do worse.

Ray not coming back surely.
Overloaded a bit at PG but none are stars.
Weak at the two spot and still look weak rebounding team.
I'd go big with the 2.7 where possible.
Trading a PG for a two guard I wouldn't mind either.

Nice team tbh, good make it to the eastern conference finals with some luck and IF and a big if, if D-Wade stays healthy, if he can play 60+ games that is a win! You've got Rio at point, Wade at the 2 now you add in an all-star who's in his prime and a contract year in Deng who play's both sides of the court and plays heavy minutes, bosh at the 4 and now we just need a legitimate centre. Add Mcbob, cole, birdman bird man….. And you have a nice rotation.
Hope D-Wade is motivated this season and is a top 10 player, lets go D!

Rio is a scrub, you cannot rely on an over the hill Dwyane Wade to carry you, Deng is okay, Bosh hasn't shown signs of being a max player in years and the rest of your team is rubbish.
Will be lucky to make it past the first round.

I read somewhere a few days ago Bosh averaged 24/10 in games that LeBron didn't play. I think every single Miami players game will change now that LeBron has gone.
In other news sounds like Tyler Johnson may end up being the 3rd string 2-guard. Sounds like he had an impressive summer league.
As for possible targets...
I don't mind getting Marion but we are going to have a massive logjam at the forward positions. Deng, McRoberts, Granger, Haslem, Marion, Ennis and any minutes Bosh plays with Birdman. Maybe Ennis is developed as Wade's back-up.

I tried to find that stat in the last week tigs. I recall him having some monster games against the Hawks and Spurs to name a few. His 30 pt outings will go up massively and he will score a good 23ppg IMO.

While understandable I think people are writing us off alittle bit too early for next season. Our team has a chance of making some noise in the East but all of that is a matter of how Wade's knees are going to hold up. I still think he can be a very good player, probably not a superstar anymore but still definitely a star in the league when healthy.
Bosh needs to step up big time, he doesn't have anyone holding him back and I want to see him have a crack at being a double/double guy and attack the rim more while keep defenses honest with his outside shooting.
