Re: Maybe Big News?

Well things could get better for Joe probably can go work for the president of Zimbabwe rigging voting polls if his job in the demolition industry falls through.

Re: Maybe Big News?

What difference does that make?? Does that make it ok to tamper with the votes?

Makes no difference at all. Just letting you know that his own Club Official would have umpired and so it is his own mates he has compromised. The epitome of egotism. Feel for the Club officials. He deserves whatever is dished out.

Re: Maybe Big News?

Clean Heels...I was at MN for 6 years...I was there when he started playing, I was at opposition clubs during more of his football career. Havent been in that area for sometime but have seen games, read the Express and talked to mates that I still have there.

Joe never was THAT good. To say he is better than 90% of the current senior MGFL players is just ludicrous. He was an 'okay' footballer.

Easily the funniest quote on Bigfooty ever.

(I realise that sarcasm is tough to sense through text, so, please note, this is a sarcastic comment)

Re: Maybe Big News?

In relation to the post above my previous one, I was going to comment on mayhem20202's response to MGFL Rocks' post. mayhem20202 stated that MGFL Rocks' post was somewhat humourous. I disagreed with this, and was going to jovially poke some fun at mayhem20202 for his poor taste in humour. Before i was able to do so, it occured to me that there was some more text I had not read in mayhem20202's post. Upon reading said text, it was made apparent that mayhem20202 was being sarcastic in relation to his reply to MGFL Rocks' post. Thus, my anticipated reply was null and void, and it was dually replaced with "I was going to say...." which more or less sums up how I felt at the time, which I have conveyed to you through this elaborate outline.

Re: Maybe Big News?

Thank god I am just a mere mortal male or I would have understood your previous comment. Tis certainly a well expressed answer and appreciated. Haha

Yarragon looked good against Mirboo North today, should be tough next week against Morewell East, did anyone see Traf vs Morewell East on Saturday, if so how did they look?

Trafalgar advanced to the Grand Final by disposing of Morwell East in Saturday’s second semi final. It was the first time that Trafalgar had beaten the East this season after two defeats of 38 and 49 points. It was a complete reversal of form by Trafalgar who went into the game as underdogs but came out as potential premiers after their 51 point demolition of Morwell East.

The game commenced in wet and miserable conditions with the ground greasy after drizzly rain and thee previous games being played. This was a big occasion match for Trafalgar and early on the players stood tall, they looked to have more purpose than Morwell East. The Bloods got away from the start, big Chris De Haas dominated early contests and the mosquito fleet conquered the conditions. Trafalgar used the ball well and played to position, Morwell East seemed lost on the big arena as Trafalgar took control of the match. Early goals to Mick Farrell, Leigh Stevens and Blake Slater set the pattern for Trafalgar as they put pressure on Morwell East not allowing the usual free flowing football commonly played by the East. By the first break Trafalgar led 4-2 to 1-0 . The second term turned into a slog as Trafalgar held on with tight defense limiting Morwell East to only two minor scores while they added 2-1 but it wasn’t smooth sailing for Trafalgar, they had to work hard to get their score on the board. Morwell East had good players in Aaron Makepeace, Bruce Siddle and Jay Crofts but there were many players down on form as Trafalgar took control and at half time went into the rooms full of confidence, leading by 31 points. Morwell East’s coach Nick Lecchino was livid at half time and he certainly let his players know how he felt. The East fought back bravely in the third quarter the Pavey brothers, Rob Shelton and Wes Amalos all got the team going, but scoring was the difficult part as they struggled within their 50 metre arc. Trafalgar were not playing as close as the first half which allowed Morwell East more use of the ball. Dean Gray and Duncan Ireland were good defenders for Trafalgar but the “little” players were cutting the East to ribbons. Morwell East however scored 3-1 for the quarter while Trafalgar could only manage 2-3 but still Trafalgar held the upper hand leading by 27 points going into the last quarter. Trafalgar coach Dave Dawson implored his players at the three-quarter time address to attack the ball more and use the conditions to their advantage. What he said seemed to work as Trafalgar raced away with goals to Blake Slater, Matt Robertson and Leigh Stevens and it like one of the boilovers of the year was on the cards, Trafalgar could do no wrong and a couple of frustration moments by Morwell East saw Trafalgar go further ahead. The East had no structure to stop the Bloods flowing and it was a disappointed team that trudged off the YYN oval after seeing Trafalgar run out winners 13-7 to 5-4. Blake Slater, Mick Farrell and Matt Robertson all scored three each for the Bloods while Morwell East had a picket fence of goalkickers. Trafalgar’s best were ruckman Chris De Haas, Kye Cherian, Chris Kyriacou and Jace Butler while Morwell East were well served by Aaron Makepeace, Harleigh Aarons, Chris Riseley and Bruce Siddle. Trafalgar now advance into their fifth Grand Final in ten years.

How's that Montfort? Yarragon are exactly NIL chance this week and If by some stroke of luck Morwell East can't find the ground then a Yarragon V Trafalgar Grand Final would be a spectacle for the ages!
