Saw the game yesterday. Not all that skillful but a reasonable game nonetheless. Havent been to a Mid Gippy game in about 5 years. Not a lot has changed.

If traf are already in the Granny its because they are probably better than the other 2 competing yesterday.

Hahahaha. It's almost like Yarragon thought they were going to make it to a Grand Final. The "Arrogant high five slapping pointy heads" as you so elegantly put it are playing this weekend in the Grand Final. While Yarragon are drowning their sorrows in the local pub.

Good luck finding some more $'s to try and buy a Grand Final next year.

Innocent WOW! Must have been on legal argument, onus of proof etc. Be interesting to find out the tribunals verdict and how his name came to be on voting slips. On the balance of probabilities, blah, blah.. Do you reckon the town believes the verdict?

Reckon the problem might have been in the legality of having the camera without notification etc.

Heard they were getting writing specialists in and everything. They must have proved something.

If he is innocent, then so be it. He will be free to play this weekend.

Ive heard Joeys taking legal action against the club, so its doubtful
that he will play - actually, know for fact that he wont be picked.

Its a shame, I think Joeys a top bloke and a fantastic player.

The whole problem is that although they may have him picking up the vote cards...and when he returns the cards there is liquid paper on the cards - NO ONE ACTUALLY SEES HIM ALTER THE CARDS. The evidence is all circumstantial. Even though it doesnt take a genius to guess who made the changes to the cards - the legal principle still stands. I believe they cant investigate his previous year's wins because the vote cards have been destroyed. The only way to overturn his previous B&F win would be to go back and interview each umpire and hope they remember who they voted for. That aint gunna happen cos Joey would scream harassment.

The destroying of said past vote cards is also a means of conjecture.

I would have thought that being an incorporated body, the Mid Gippsland Football League would be required to keep such documents for 7 years.

So to end the Joe 'vote magnet' saga, how did he poll in the league reserves B & F and also how did he go in his clubs B & F? His wife must be wrapped in him for losing all their friends..!!

By the way, I won the 'Joe Bordonaro medal' as player of the year in my winter cricket comp despite averaging 4.8 and taking no wickets. None of my team mates new we had an award though!
