Moe will never go to the mgfl. Yes, they may be struggling on the scoreboard, but this doesn't paint the picture, all clubs have their bad times. Moe has some very promising talent coming through and I'm sure they will be good again in a couple of years time.

"Paint the picture" WTF. STRUGGLING !!!
How would you describe the performance of the Moe Football Club?
I really don't want to disrespect the playing group ,they are what they are and they at least front up week after week.
What has happened to all of the good juniors over the last 10 years ? Simon Lee, Hortons, Kyriacou, Gelagotis, Phillips, Dickason, Grima, Mutke, Kerrigan, Thompson, Robertson and many other "promising talent" that have come through Moe Under age teams. Then add Payne, Jacobs, Munro & Webber who all played senior footy at Moe as 18 year olds. So please don't tell me because" Moe have some promising talent coming through" all will be good again in a couple of years.

It's just a shame how a majority of these players have ended up in the mgfl, where they are obviously getting paid $$$ to play at a mediocre level and not playing to there full potential. Comparing gippsland league standard and the mgfl, gippsland league is a lot better standard , and I can't see why some good local players would want to play in a very average league when they can play at moe and improve themselves

Seems as if Moe turns over more players every year than plugga does hotdogs on a Saturday.

And plugga eats a lot of hotdogs!

Moe will be back up within the next few years I'm sure. For whatever reason the club seems to have these down periods every so often but the Moe footy club always bounces back

Munro talented??? lol hes a goat. Couldnt get a kick in a street fight.........glad you included Kiziacou is that list though!:) Word is Moe are getting a handy little goalsneak from up the hill next year??

Looking like a two horse race, a replay of last years grand final with the same result:thumbsu: Must be a record our backline created on the weekend keeping the Rock to just one point. Dean Gray had a nice camp set up at full back, seeing as the ball never went down there he could of had a few hours sleep as well if he wanted;)

Mirboo are like Yinnar, just a one man team, Nashy would nearly cause an earthquake after taking them off his shoulders every week! Anyone else see the photo of Keno in the Weekly Times?? His knees dropped as always waiting for a cheap free kick:mad:

If Traf set a record it was beaten by Yinnar 2's! Thorpdale didn't even register a score, and Liam Durkin was afraid to get the ball on the weekend cause there were no sheep dog kicks to be found! Only the real men and footballers get kicks in that weather!

To bad our magoos beat Yinnar second time round hey Footylovero_O

Very soft run home for us, starting with the bye tomorrow, aka Yarra. Lets see if Pavey continues to be his own worst victim by picking himself and putting himself in the best:eek: Cohan Lee should return abit of friendly fire from their time at Woodside!:)

I went and watched Yarragon V Traf on the weekend and Yarragon served it up to them for most of the game and the game was a lot closer than the scoreboard showed! Traf seem to be missing a lot of players though, both the holdsworths kids, tyson leys, blake slater, matt riseley, brendan dawson, hayden farrel and couple of others, you would think we all them back they could push late into the finals! Be good to seem them not make it though, they need to be brought down a peg or two!

I also went and watched this game, Traf seem to be just kicking the legs over with a few players to cone back u can never right them off, I would like to know why number 20 and number 51 are not in the ones side?? Both players had it on a string in the seconds!!!

Got up and seen mirbo on Saturday wow t trail was amazing I don't believe they will be touched in the finals Traf won't run with them at all they are a unfit unit atm newb may just beat them cause of class! The grand finale will be yinnar mirbo! Only because newb feel like they are already in it! Oh j Nash wow out side player but could be the top winger or half back flank In the district !!

I am thinking a Mirboo Nth v Newborough grand final and am leaning towards Newborough for the flag. Still very open though and I wouldn't be surprised if any of the top 5 win. League B and F is a tricky one, doesn't seem to be one player standing out above everyone else. I would say Hancock is a good chance and Grinstead Jones from Yinnar is a bit of a smoky

whos everyones tips for the flag and league b and f

If given out right, I'd say Carboni by a space.

As for the flag, It's between Newborough and Yinnar.
If it's a wet finals series, Boolarra might make things interesting given the quality of their midfield.

No offense intended to Thorpy, but how did they beat Boolarra?

They must have played their best game for the last decade!!

Thorpy beat boolarra by scoring more points then them pluggeroo, not rocket science! But they were harder, faster, stronger, better!

I must admit I did see the game and that man carboni was a star!! (Followed up by a close second to the streaker at start of the last).

As for Liam durkin running around in the 12 o'clock squad, he didnt need a shower after the game he got a bath during it, if he wants the ball of his team mates he claps his hands really fast wtf! Do u not have a voice pal? And Are you scared to Tackle and chase? Or is forward line pressure not part of your game? Your day will come baysixer!

Anyway better get back to work, customers to serve!

Classic appraisal of Jerkin Durkin there. His on-field demeanour certainly has the effect of sucking the life out of anyone within a 1km radius. He might be onto something there with the hand clapping. Would just need to make it 1,000 times louder so that his teamates can hear it.

Thorpy played really good footy on the weekend in the 1's. Backed themselves to run all day and of course Carboni was untouchable. Watching that game one would have thought they were a top 5 side. Bit of a future there if they keep on the right track.

Will Tim trail kick his 100 goal this weekend??
How will win the flag?? Mirboo for me!!
League medal: won't be a player in the top 5 (carboni)
Seconds flag: prob newbrough but I reckon traf once there ones go out will be a good shot
Seconds medal: number 51 from traf from what I have seen he is clearly the best in the league atm
Thirds flag: yarra
Forths flag: yarra/yinnar line ball game
