Don't we have enough list fillers as it is? I mean apparently the 2nd best mature age recruits last year in McAdam can't get on the part why waste a spot.

Pickett, we need pace in the midfield he has it in spades. Im just saying it was worth a shot to get him over even if it means playing sanfl under our nose.

It's quite strange to me that we have zero guys from WA on the list, West Coast and Freo regularly unearth some pretty good players from their state leagues.

TBF, McGovern and McAdam were under their noses as well. And McGovern's brother was playing for WC and his father was a former Fremantle player. And last trading period WC were trying to extract Kelly from Geelong

I love Haggis I think he's done a teriffic job and 9 times out 10 I back him in, I think we probably had our eye on someone who was picked up earlier. Im just saying personally wouldnt have minded giving pickett a crack.

Not really upset by this - all I can say is I hope they do bring in a mid season draft full on though. Would totally make a long ass season more enjoyable (sorry to the traditionalists)
