Gol Gol Hawks 4.5 7.9 8.10 11.10 (76)

Saw this game, Gol Gol had nothing up forward, stacka had no impact and there was nobody else there. Also very poor kicking coming out of defence with numerous turnovers by foot making it easy for the Saints to bang it back in and score. The only time the ball came out of the Gol Gol back line was when the Boundary Umps had it after a Bambill goal.

Didn't see the game myself but the scores don't indicate a one sided affair???? Gol Gol lead at half time and spoke to a guy last night who said that their coach, ass coach and vandy didn't play...... Can't have been too bad a effort...

Great to see the Nangi boys with a win on the board. Must have been a big night or two out there.

Vandy wont play, end of story.

Gol Gol tried hard but were not up to the same level, the fact that they tried hard kept them in the game until the vital stages when Bambil out classed them. Yes the fact that Umback & Wilkie were out made a difference, but I am told Bambil had a couple out as well. Those two back in would not have been enough to get Gol Gol over the line.

Didn't go to the game either, but heard it was a case of poor fitness???? Gol Gol ran out of legs and Bambil looked much fitter????

Anyone shed any light?

Fitness did play its part. Another thing the game did show is that Bambill are beatable and I reckon they will egt knocked off at some stage this year, hopefully in the GF.:D

Re: Millewa Football League

Looks like your president of the league is a nice guy and works hard for the league, The Footy show have done a good job for your league.

Re: Millewa Football League

Well done Luke, great effort to take on the Presidents job and I think that you will continue to do a great job for our superb little district league. Excellect effort from the people that came on The Footy Show to present the sponsorship from McDonalds and the car aswell. Was watching with great pride for the Millewa League at home here in Adelaide.

Re: Millewa Football League

The Footy Show certainly put you guys on the map.

I dont agree with everything they do but last nights effort in getting a $25,000 sponsorship from McDonalds for the league and giving your young president a car was just fantastic.

I hope they follow through with their offer of a sportsman's night as well.

Re: Millewa Football League

i laughed when Jim referred to Millewa as a town.
"We should go down to Millewa and do a sportsman night"
Would be a big night at the Werrimall pub. ;)

Expert, why would you think Nangi ahead of Meringur when the Roos won by 50 points when they faced off? Agree with your top 3 oviously.
