seems like you blokes are focusing on the moonheads trying to throw some big money at a few of there players, what are your thoughts spanna? personly i dont think they would be stupid enough to head out over copes hill

Are the old spana always likes to have a crack at the other clubs, lets all just get on with our teams, but there are people who do like to head over copes hill seems stupid to me because it means that every home game is pretty much an away game and especially if you have to play home games at willaura buts thats there choice

Matt Rae has just signed on as moyston coach.
Played full forward a sebastopol in the BFL. Interesting move to appoint young player with no coachin experience - very bold

should be a good appointment for them, the big butler might have to pull in the big pre season for a forward line posistion now.

Correct mclean it is a very bold move but it will hopefully pay off for M/W. Has a good record of experience at higher standards playing with the Caulder Cannons in the TAC and then 1st's at sebas. Should be good to get some new coaching blood out there with Wilf having a long stint coaching. Good Luck to Matt:thumbsu:

what position will he play at moyston. kicked 18 goals this year form 16 games. played FB to CHB to CHF to FF!!!!! so seems more of a versatile player than a ff!!!!

He is more versatile-and with some luck, he might bring with him another big-bodied versatile player as well. Watch this space.

So is 20 goals close superspan?
Taty have appointed Douga Walton as coach again.
Looks likely to be bringing sonny back to play with a few other big names.
Things looking even better for taty in 09.

I wouldnt be so confident of that Magic, heard Sonny along with a few other lads had been linked to the Weagles!! Anyway time will tell... Doug going alone or joint again?

i think your right there.... the pumas are on the move already!!!:thumbsu:

Just some facts and figures for the uneducated...

Moyston played Taty twice last year and were beaten by 57 points and 94 points respectively... Both times, but especially in the first outing Taty had been struck pretty hard with injuries..

Moyston also played Hawkesdale twice last year and were beaten by 74 points and 41 points respectively..

They also failed to beat Lismore/Derri throughout the season..

Glad they are on the way up but there is still plenty of improvement needed, (providing the top three teams have similar line-ups) to be a serious contender in 2009!!

Good luck to Matt Rae, dont know him but good to see a young bloke having a crack at coaching at a senior level!
