Whats everyones thoughts on the vote counts. Was todd a deservant winner. probably the team he plays in lacks a bit of deapth and he is hard at it and always under the umpies noses. Fisher polled 12 votes in the seniors is goign to be a great player but i think umpires have just got his name on their. Got 2 votes against taty and taty won by 25 goals didnt do that much. not taking anything away from him he is a good young kid. What are peoples thought for saturday? match ups etc?

fisher is a very exciting young player and clearly deserved the votes he got. yes he might have been lucky getting the votes against taty but if the kid is kicking goals and racking up the possies then he deserves the votes in my eyes.
i cant honestly see taty getting beat, no team for the season has come close and the mind sets for there opposition must be extremily negative after taty dominate week in week out..
 
Great to see a Caramut player winning the B&F. Still look in the paper to see how they have been going

With a family member on the league executive, this is the first I've heard of it...

if this is the case perhaps the league executives were foolish not to vote the Ararat Eagles into the league at the end of last year. this would have strengthened the MDFL. Again if this is the case perhaps the execs could go on the front foot and approach clubs such as the Ararat Eagles. But as stated arlier this could all just be rumour and it's coming to that time of the year.

It wasn't the executives that kept the eagles out last year. From all reports they very keen to see them come into the mdfl.
It was the clubs them selves that voted against it. Could of been a very bad move. lpfl have been looking and asking clubs to join there league for at least two years. Seems like they might be one step ahead of the mdfl on this.

Word is that tatyoon have offered sam anyon,damien and nathan mcdonald from stawell swifts a 50K package for 2008,thats for the 3 of them.probalbly right as tatyoon buy there flags ie 2006,2007,2008???

beton 5 you are a parrot. those players are stink. why would we offer sam anyon that sort of money when we have the 2 best leading forwards ion the comp. and the young mcdonald wouldnt get a game. atleast make up some good footballers. i heard great western has offered mick fratin, dale bligh and matt jackson 100k package

i highly doubt that also.. but at least as you say, if you are gunna start a rumour at least make up some good footballers, those 3 are good..
