someone posted a wiki link about a diving bell accident and what it did to the bodies, gruesome stuff. The human blood boiled, bodies were disembowelled and sprayed some 10 metres away, the pressure sucked bodies through 16cm openings.

i kinda wanna read about it....though ill probably regret it....

It squashes you to about 1 centremetre.
All liquid which is most of your body atomises and dissipates within a millisecond.
The bone goes to dust in the same amount of time.
Cool way to go, all over in a millisecond.
Happy wife with money and clarity to continue on the journey.

I pray and hope that they all went simultaneously. Would be horrible to be the last watching the others perish

they are saying it happened in milliseconds and likely didn't even know what was happening which is probably the best of the worst scenarios

Medical findingEdit

Medical investigations were carried out on the remains of the four divers. The most notable finding was the presence of large amounts of fat in large arteries and veins and in the cardiac chambers, as well as intravascular fat in organs, especially the liver.[3]: 97, 101  This fat was unlikely to be embolic, but must have precipitated from the blood in situ.[3]: 101  The autopsy suggested that rapid bubble formation in the blood denatured the lipoprotein complexes, rendering the lipids insoluble.[3]: 101  The blood of the three divers left intact inside the chambers likely boiled instantly, stopping their circulation.[3]: 101  The fourth diver was dismembered and mutilated by the blast forcing him out through the partially blocked doorway and would have died instantly.[3]: 95, 100–101

Coward, Lucas, and Bergersen were exposed to the effects of explosive decompression and died in the positions indicated by the diagram. Investigation by forensic pathologists determined that Hellevik, being exposed to the highest pressure gradient and in the process of moving to secure the inner door, was forced through the crescent-shaped opening measuring 60 centimetres (24 in) long created by the jammed interior trunk door. With the escaping air and pressure, it included bisection of his thoracoabdominal cavity, which resulted in fragmentation of his body, followed by expulsion of all of the internal organs of his chest and abdomen, except the trachea and a section of small intestine, and of the thoracic spine. These were projected some distance, one section being found 10 metres (30 ft) vertically above the exterior pressure door.[3]: 95

This is how I feel too lol I'm going to resist or I'll be thinking about it all day.
don't look at my last post then, i have morbid curiosity so i had to read about it

Yeh I just read that, does beg the question again. What’s the point of recovery. You’re risking more loss of life or equipment to recover some debris at best.
I’d say it’s more for the PR and the families involved but they did drag their feet in getting the resources and subs out there for a reason

The robot Victor 6000 was deployed in an attempt to release the felled sub.
Today Victor (Wembanyama) was picked no 1 in the nba draft.

And Australia was the VICTOR in the first Ashes test.

There are no coincidences.

Also I have a belief that the US and possibly one or two other countries know what exactly happened to MH370 and where the wreckage is but are playing dumb as to not reveal their secretive satellite surveillance capabilities, on a similar vein, considering how paranoid the US would be on potentially Chinese and/or Russian submarines entering their waters or close by, I wonder if they have technology that either know where the sub is or whether its even intact or not, but are playing dumb again in this case.

Yeh this is true, it’s truly an odd situation with the general public reaction.

There’s definitely an element of “* around and find out” like, I’m no expert but if I’d shelled out $250k and rolled up to find the Titan had an offbrad game controller, a viewing hole barely the size of my head and I was bolted into the thing I reckon I’d bail in a heartbeat, but these guys didn’t.

It’s all easy in hindsight but it’s a staggering set of circumstantial stupidity that led to it.

More money than sense

I just had a new idea for a funeral.

More DOLLARS than sense. We clarified this a few pages back.
They also said it was not definitive.

I'm sure the family members would have wanted this search to continue in the slightest hope they were incorrect.
The family members probably still want it to continue on the off chance it resurfaced and Aquaman ripped the door off, wouldnt have hurt to have this information to manage expectations when they knew it. Media and the like have been reporting all sorts of shit giving false hope since Monday when most reasonable people knew they had 0.0000000000001% chance of survival.

Might not have changed what they did but at least the family didnt hold onto false hope for 3 days.

How do you know they weren't informed of this information?
