AFLW 2024 - Round 10 - Chat, game threads, injury lists, team lineups and more.
another lazy 7, clearly past it
Aaaaaand we've come full circle. This is probably the worst thread on BigFooty. OP is a flog.
If I was to pick a world 11 to play tomorrow he would be my first picked. Well done to the man, I for one had written him off and if it were not for a few injuries to some other bowlers we may never had seen him play test cricket again. A great story!
This isn't really the place but mine would be:What is your test world Xi?

If he can get through the rest of this series and manage to sustain this form until the world cup next year, Australia are at a huge advantage as we've seen in these last six test matches in every game until then - the World T20, the India/Pakistan test series and the World Cup itself. It's a double-edged sword - one off day from him where he's not up to his best with the ball and suddenly we pay for bad batting performances like those during the Ashes/we came close to in the first innings here, when the opposition get a 200 run lead on us. If we can manage to fix all of those cracks while he's on this high though, the #1 test ranking is a real possibility by the year's end. As I said earlier in this thread I'll back him to pick up a couple of man of the tournament awards in the World T20, World Cup and even IPL, as well as clinch the ICC best player award too. Will be interesting to see how his batting goes. Fielding has been sublime too.He can't keep this up, but it's the most amazing ride for Aus fans.
It seems that not only is he bowling better, but the batsmen are suddenly fearing him and doubting themselves more than they ever would have. It seems to have somehow given our top order some added confidence too.
Because they know that if they get dismissed for 250 in their first innings Johnson's bowling performance in the other team's first dig will make it as good as 400It seems to have somehow given our top order some added confidence too.
This isn't really the place but mine would be:
