I'm sorry is this the section where the mods asked for feedback?

As i mentioned i tolerate it so i can follow the conversation however others are now breaking off to avoid him, not exactly a great outcome is it?

Speaking of which considering quite a few posters now have made comment about a specific poster it would be nice to actually get some feedback in return from the mods.

Thread has only been open for 2 days and I’m wanting to see as many poster’s views as possible before getting involved in discussion

I’m inclined to leave it for at least another day or two before responding directly to the concerns raised

Personally happy with this board and how it operates.
Have been on here for many years, actually can't believe how long. Why so few post?
I actually stopped posting and even reading for a few years a while back as there were constant derailments and posters just looking at picking a fight if you disagreed with them or they disagreed with you.
Definitely a lot better now even though there are a few still lingering around waiting to start a back and forth with anyone that will accommodate.

If threads go off topic with with a few posters banging on about something irrelevant maybe they should be told to wrap it up a bit quicker, particularly when it is still going several pages later. Eg, JDG being the main topic of a thread that has nothing to do with him.

But I digress,
Mods you are doing a great job in what is a bit of a balancing act between not wanting to be too harsh and allowing freedom of speech, which we all have a right too, while at the same time limiting the BS and trolling that arises in any and all forums.

Forgot to mention about "outside interaction/interference" which I have no problem with at all. I venture onto other boards and have never been met with hostility so am happy to have others pop in for and with a view if they want. So long as they are respectful and not just looking to troll.

Re piling onto an individual poster - that is not

I appreciate that that poster is not everyone's cup of tea but you don't have to read it and I trust in the moderators' abilities to have a chat with people as they see fit and remove people from threads and the board as required.

I understand your concern however I publicly implored him many years ago that he needed to reign in how he spoke to members on our board and forewarned that if corrections were not made he would most likely start to put people’s noses out of joint.

I did that out of respect and as a friendly heads up, not sure what more I could have done then and if my words came to pass I’m hardly a prophet.

I have only one request and it would be the ability to enjoy the draft and trading threads again.

I do not say it lightly as a fan and previous adherent to a laissez-faire moderating approach* but sometimes when you give people too much rope they use it to tie threads down to the point they are no longer readable. Even with the ignore function.

*in our day we called it laziness

I like that our board can have other supporters on here and is more relaxed than others. Sometimes threads can be a bit stale and an echo chamber so having alternative view points from people who may not be as emotionally bias as us can stimulate discussion and offer perspective. Keep up the great work imo.

To follow up on Rowan18's point, bias/biased misuse should also see a ban.

Sometimes threads can be a bit stale and an echo chamber so having alternative view points from people who may not be as emotionally bias as us can stimulate discussion and offer perspective. Keep up the great work imo.

Real boomer type energy in the following, but would love either the pre season training thread to ONLY be training reports from those magnificent bastards who take the time to attend and write the reports (also include Journo and social media reports about training) OR a new thread that is ONLY for these reports. We have so many other avenues for people to sprout their opinions, on anything and everything, that it'd be nice to have one place where we didn't have to troll through the pages of whatever pops in someones mind to get to a training report.

I never thought fick that one poster in particular, but I also don't draft watch. If multiple wce posters are annoyed in the thread that is meant to be a bit less team central that seems like a problem.
Can also understand why people who don't take it so seriously don't see the same issues.
I enjoyed tank gifs, but could have gone for battleships as more interesting.
Although saying your team is shipping is different to tanking for sure.
