But old man Harvs is such a fair and wonderful player that he would never do such a thing, would he?
I didnt say he was a fair an wonderful player, But there was definetley differences between the two Incidents, hence why Harvey wasnt called up and Mooney was. The major difference being that the ball was between the two players as the both ran flat chat to pick it up.

Whereas if Mooney had have hit a hip and shoulder on someone or something, Cat fans would be screaming blue murder and going "there's nothing much in it, there's nothing much in it" and saying he should get off.

At least get your facts right, it was Bartel not Harley.

And yes, he was very lucky, all Geelong supporters know that. He should have gone up instead of Moons.
Sorry, but all those snipers at sleepy hollow look the same.

So what? Bartel then. Doesn't change that fact another Girlong player let off?

How many is that this year? 5, 6?

It is really beyond a joke!

What does it look like?

If Mooney or someone had have done the same thing that Harvey did, you'd all be jumping up and down saying that there wasn't anything in it and it wasn't intended. But if it's Harvey, most Cat fans sit there saying it was intentional and he meant to cause harm.

The fair and wonderful player comment wasn't directed at you, it was just a general comment. Sorry for the confusion.

I still think there was no need for Harvey to turn his body side on to collect TC.

Your whinging and whining is becoming pathetic as are your conspiracy theories. He got off... get over it

Don't start throwing logic at Cats fans.

Most think consentual sex is when the dog doesn't bark!

Mooney did do that, to Peckett, and he did get hurt, and it was fair. I never said Harveys wasnt fair. Good by Callan to have eyes for the ball though, hes a courageous player and will do it all day.

True. Buts laying bumps are part and parcel with the game, was probably bit cruder than Mooneys on Peckket, but thats football.

No doubt. I'm not overly fussed that Harvey didn't go up, but Moons should never have been cited if Harvey wasn't. But justice was done and he was rightly cleared.

JeffDunne, interesting last comment from you about consentual sex...

I'll just leave it at that.

I don't care if Mooney got off or not, I don't think he should have got anything anyway...all I'm saying was that Harvey's bump was a fair and square hip and shoulder, contradictory to a few posts I saw earlier.

lol - we all know who has the tag of handbaggers JubJub. I dont agree with it but you know mate once a name has stuck, it is there for good.

No he probably just look at sniper hollows record in their last nine finals, including the last one. that usually gives rise to nicknames like Geelongs.

9-0 great record from the Shannon Nolls of the AFL.

Keep screaming loud enough someone might just hear you hillbillies.:D

Interesting to read how Geelong are certainties to beat, not only the Saints, but also Port, Melbourne and Brisbane, as reported in the Age this morning.

All this from a 7 point win , and you now thinkyou are going to win the flag. Talk about deluded arrogance

I cannot believe the rubbish posted on this thread by some of the Catfans, absolutely unbelievable, some really dumb stuff there.
Okay I have a question for you Catfans, Is Mooney a dirty player?
This will be good.
Dumb detecter : Switched on.

Yes and No, he does a lot of stupid things. But this year he has taken it out of his game. Should he go, No he didnt connect and the guy got 50 and a goal anyway.

Does he like the agro, YES and I think Geelong needs someone like him with agro.

Mooney has been pretty good this year.

Result of tribunal for Mooney???

No Fireman, clean as the driven snow. Doesn't headbutt, knee, or now elbow from behind. He is pretty cowardly. I would go as far to say he is the least courageous player in the comp, just ahead of "duck my head" Spriggs.
