Dean Cox used to frequent the same driving range as me on Friday afternoons.

He was okay at golf. Not great. Not terrible.

But okay.

I said hello once and he nodded his head slightly, before proceeding to hit an adequate shot off the tee.

Cox and Judd were camped out behind my standing room section for last years grand final. Saw cox getting rounds for random punters behind him in line - seemed he couldn't care about line up cause he could still over

He complained about how long it took to be served despite knowing I was the only person there and that I actually opened the store 15 minutes early to serve them - he only waited for the other 3 to be served.
He also had a pretty crap attitude and was unimpressed not all bread options were available, again despite knowing I opened early. Lyon pretty much apologised for his attitude.

Saw Kreuzer and his girlfriend buying a salad in Noosa. I was wearing my Lions cap and he had a double take to see a footy fan in Queensland but it ended there.

Saw Jordan Lewis riding a pushbike down Hastings St in Noosa a couple of months ago.

Stevie J wandering around the back streets of Mooloolaba a few off seasons ago was an odd, yet boring, sighting.

For me, one of the saddest outcomes of the Lions eventually moving their training base out of the Gabba will be the loss of my daily "Which Lion will I spot crossing Stanley St as I ride in the bus?" moments.

And I bet he didn't articulate himself very well either.

I lined up behind him at IGA in Warrandyte one day. True story.

Think I must've been in Noosa at the same time. Also spotted premiership hero Joffa Simpkin, Blake Caracella and Troy Simmonds who seems to work at Gazman there now.

I have had lots of ex player encounter/sightings not any current player ones that I can recall. Once worked at the same place as Jeff Farmer.Very likeable person ( Jeff Farmer) .Once saw ex eagle Brett Heady at the corner deli about ten years after he retired wearing a west coast eagles track suit and he had west coast eagles number plates on his car.Once had a little laugh with Chris Judd about the dog swamp shopping centre. That was at the dog swamp shopping centre. He thought that name was hilarious.Once looked over Shaun McManuses shoulder while he was betting on a horse. The horse didn't win.

Was he wearing his gold boots too?

Ugh. I'm insanely jealous, he's my dream man.

hehe...nah. Just black jeans and boots and the red coat.

It was evening, drizzly and cold, real shitty so I had my head down, but it was his huge grin I saw first. Absolutely made my day.

Speaking of almost running players over, I almost ran Cotchin and Dusty over after they'd finished a clinic. They sprinted across the road in front of moving cars to Cotch's Jeep. Can only assume they were trying to avoid stopping for any autographs/photos.

I also saw Dipper leaving Crown Casino once.

Barry Hall frequents the same gym that I go to. He followed me into the sauna one day after I had seen him earlier incline bench 140. He was wearing black budgie smugglers.

I also met matthew scarlett at Oaks day in like 2004 or something. Ive heard he is a bit of a prick on real life but he was happy to take photos with me and my mates and have a chat and a drink.

Kinda wonder why he wasnt in a marquee though maybe he got kicked out qlready and decided to slum it with us riff raff.

Was cycling home from work along Swan street this arvo, and saw a hulk of a man on a push bike wearing a Collingwood back pack with the initials AR on the back of it. ''Twas Anthony Rocca. Went straight past him as he lumbered along.

Worst 200 game player with his initials on his back pack ever.

I saw Luke Rounds at a GWS Collingwood game. Sat a couple of rows in front of me. I didn't really care that much.

Who is Luke Rounds
