Personally, I can't wait to see Gazza in action after a full pre-season. He is a genuine star and will be great to watch in the midfield more often.

Others that rate a mention for me are Tenace and Mackie as I hope they will enjoy more game time with natural improvement from 2004.

Steve Johnson should also be fitter for the run in 2004. I'm looking for him to take a few teams apart next season.

It will also be interesting to see how James Kelly comes back.

Any thoughts?

I'd like to throw Charlie Gardner into the mix. I'd say with a couple more seasons under his a belt..and a fair bit more goal kicking practice he could develop into a good player.

Andrew Mackie to bulk up and help (with Ottens and continued development of S. Johnson etc.) turn the foward line into a real goal-kicking machine.

Tim Callan will establish himself as a regular in our best team, and be talked up as one of the better young leaders in the competition.

Tim Callan will play have a prolific improvement next year; he will earn his spot and mature and mould into one of the club's most exciting talents.

Tom Lonergan will step up next year, a bloke who not many people would have seen. Expect him to play around 10 matches, gradually building his body up.

Charlie Gardiner, I believe, will be the biggest success story of 2005. He will be moulded and shaped to fill the void Ben Graham will leave when he retires, and working with Ottens. I expect a vastly improved season from Charlie.

The Player that will star on 05 will be Bartel. After struggling to get back into the side till 1/2 way through the season and another preseason with a few more Kgs on his upper body he will be on fire.

S Johnson will add another 5kg to add to the 10 he put on this year to be a stronger freak.

Kelly will be as good as before the injury although it may take him a bit of time to mentally get over that, once he does that he will be top notch.

GAJ will improve naturally and will pprobably get more ball time so he will only go higher up the top 50.

I think Mackie will be in and out of the side (no offence to him as I think he can play) He really needs 2 Pre seasons to add more Bulk to his skills, so 2006 will be his big year, same for Playfair (depending if Benny goes off to the US)
