Most rigged umpiring I've seen for a while.....

That first half was an absolute joke of umpiring. The second half was a lot better umpired but the umpires gave Geelong about 3 goals in the first half, and nearly could have been 5 or 6 if those players were accurate.

The most biased umpiring I've seen against Freo for a couple years.

The first free kick in particular just set the tone, when big Pods just comes up and starts roughing people up, Dawson fires back in the exact same manner and gets reported. Hilariously awful.

It started against Freo. I think the bad umpiring even its self out somewhat in the end.

I do agree though shocking umpiring at key moments in the game.

There was a play in the game when Stevie J took on 3-4 players and fell forward = Free kick for push in the back. I think i few heard me yelling at that moment. Between rounds 1-23 i can live with it.

Yeah I agree to a point but then you can look at just how hard Freo worked into the game and then to hold the lead.

Overall I think the umps did a good job with one or two shockers, just like Freo made a couple of shocker kicks out of defence. Overall I am stoked with today.

Are you kidding me? At one stage freo had 1 free kick (another was an out on the full which doesn't really count) with minutes to go to half time. Meanwhile Geelong had 10. One umpire in particular was giving away soft shit (the guy who reported Dawson).

Meanwhile Sandilands in getting mugged up forward, doesn't get a free kick, but Dawson does a shoulder tap and the umpire says its a punch in the guts.

If Geelong weren't gifted those free kicks in front of goal they would have had 3.11 to half time and Freo would be 4-5 goals up.

Am re watching the match and just got to first qtr and how Suban can get done for holding the ball when he has 4 people on him over 200 kg and he is trying to move or shake but can't due to the weight and gets done for no genuine attempt seriously

This exact same thing happened to a geelong player later in the game and was called a ball up. Which makes it even more puzzling. Everyone prefers finals games to NOT be over umpired but if they're going to ****ing over umpire the game then be fair about it. That umpire who reported Dawson needs to be banned from doing another finals game. He was shit house.

The umpiring overall was disgusting and they should seriously be dropped for next weeks semi's.

Agreed. I'm just saying if we lost this game by less than 4 goals it would be an absolute farce. The fact we won it with everything going against us just shows how much better Freo were.
