54000 people in a 60000 seat stadium, when I had a look before the game I would estimate around 200 tickets were available on ticket master :/

No idea where the other 6K seats were... sucks.
Just carrying on the proud tradition of members not turning up and not releasing their tickets for resale

Does anyone know when/how you can get access to the cheaper tickets? Looking at taking my young one to the Gold Coast game, should hardly be a sellout, but right now, the cheapest tickets are $55 for an adult. Not really looking to spend over $100 on tickets.

I suspect that the one off tickets are more expensive at the new stadium to discourage members from handing in their memberships and just going GA. My membership is the second cheapest category and it works out to be $47 a game, which is less than the cheapest GA ($55)

Not sure that proves anything other than there is a management of the process.

It would be great if the media chased the Venue Manager for comment, specifically the GA area.

$55 appear to be the cheapest for non members. Suits me fine as I like sitting near the goals, can either be the best or worsf atmosphere at the ground :p

Was under the impression there were tickets in GA from $30 and it shows up when looking for tickets that prices start at around this mark, but when you actually click on a seat, the prices start at $55. Just trying to work out if all the cheap tickets go immediately or if they get released later or if they only available to members on resale. I remember snapping up tickets at Subi for $28, no way should $55 be the minimum price for three hours of entertainment.

Also, junior tickets are listed as ages 6-14. My little one is 5 so where does that leave him.

Free as long as he sits on your knee. If you want him to have a seat then buy him a 6-14

First game in my new seats. Row 20 of the top tier, so pretty high up. A few metres inside of the 50M arc towards the wing. Closer to the end where we were kicking to in the last qtr (city end I think). Me and the missus had a great time (partly influenced by the fact that by bouncedown I was already a few pints in due to UFC earlier in the day). Hardly had to queue up for anything, although I avoided the peak times.

We went to the bar behind the goals at our end but were told it was booked out for a private function. Pretty annoying, especially as it looked to only be 20% full (though most attendees may have been in nearby seats). The lady at the entrance said something about signing up for it on the Eagles website before the game but I haven't looked into it.

Good to hear non cat-A/B members can get into the River Room if its not busy. Do they check when its busy? I'll try it out on Saturday.

Also, I think the bus is the way to go for transport. We are about a 10min drive North West of Mirrabooka bus station. We caught a bus from there and its 35min each way to the stadium (so 45 door to door). Even at the end of the match it was quick...the buses all line up (we had 2 of the buses we needed ready to go) and as soon as they are filled they take off. Much unlike the train, which doesn't have that flexibility and is usually sitting full on the platform for 15min before it leaves.

Karl Langdon (take that FWIW) said on Saturday that there are whole sections of blocks that the two clubs are unwilling to sell because of how restricted the viewing is.

I find this odd, but that's the story.

Looks like there are plenty tickets left for Saturday, might be a small crowd.

Got home Sunday night and locked these tickets in.
I'm hooked.
I'm a ITW member that missed out on seats but have already sat 8 rows back last week and have seats almost behind the dugout this week.

Yeh I got tickets for this week (first game at the new stadium) but I'm at the back of the block 549 I think. Kind of like seeing the game unfold when I watch it live.
