Very little parking at Glendalough station , better at Stirling Station heaps more parking .
Glendalough closer to Perth and your location ...might be a bus that goes direct to the Stadium from Morley or Mirrabooka that goes close to your home . That would be very fortunate though .

Walk Bridge won't be finished in May .....
Transport Minister saying maybe end of June .

Sounds like end of June , guaranteed by the June 21 Eagles game ....sorry not guaranteed but will have other plans for June 21 if Walk Bridge is not complete .

Wind and weather conditions will affect the completion date .

Sounds like there might have been a problem with the tension of the Foot Bridge ...few cms out ....glad they not opening before they get it right , we have a lovely river but not keen to swim in it during Winter !

I have complete faith in our transport minister though even if she may be a Docker supporter.

I'm actually not sure the point of the bridge. It leads to the back of Gloucester park yeah? Not exactly an entertainment or transport hub there. Who is actually going to use it?

Eagles offered guaranteed game day bays at Gloucester Park a week or so before the season started. Me and my family have been parking there and just catching the bus round. When it's finished it'll be a ten minute walk at most.

Office workers for Thursday and Friday night games ...Shuttles will run to the area .

Eagles and GP have a joint parking offer to Eagles supporters also to allow parking at GP ...although very expensive $187 a season .

That's not a huge carpark though. They are saying 15000 will use it each match. Can't see it myself.

The idea was to get a lot more night games instead of the Sunday arvo BS. So when the game is finished you can walk back to East Perth, where businesses will be investing (Bright Tank Brewing Co due to open, and a recent article in the news about redevelopment of the area).

Surely they'll run some buses to the train station as well, though the main benefit of it is to stagger 60k people wanting a train or bus at once. If we get all Sunday arvo games next season itll well and truly be a waste as people just want to get home.

Last reports were it would be finished in May if the weather held out. Weather has been glorious so not sure what the problem is.

It's been too good, the workers have been sunning themselves instead of getting on with it.

Yeh I popped in a couple of games ago - was nice to be able to get a bottle of Matsos - just a shame I couldn't take it out even in a cup

Wasn't overly crowded, and could have done with a few more tables and maybe some extra food options.

Is the room available to all members ?
