Im a group leader with a window prior to yours and cant access this...

Afternoon Mick06

I posted this yesterday for another poster.

Try the link. Check the button next to your seat allocation and then click continue. Wait for it to load / render.

Check the button alongside your seat allocation and then click continue.

Hope it works.

No sure what you expect differently?? Maybe a solid balustrade??

Btw balustrade height is about 1m, which is about tit height when seated, so doubt it will be an issue.
You would hope that is the case which makes you wonder why the virtual view shows that you have to look through it.

There are only 2 screens at the stadium right? So that picture has some serious distortion. Wont look anything like that
Of course the pic is a little off, look at the time on the screens. Its obviously two or three pics joined digitally together with software to give a wider view.
But the thing we are looking at isn't distorted. The poles are blocking the grass and you will be looking directly through the pool fence. And its only going to get worse once you sit down a little lower on the first row. The virtual stadium view also shows this.

Not a bad seat in the house. True statement, the actual seat is 50cm wide and has a cup holder. Forget about the view from said seat.

ssshhhh....let the floggos believe...
Shit mate look whos talking about being a flog, your last 3 post before this one has added so much to the discussion.

I'd say only a small portion of the ground will be covered by the glass in that seat and in real life the glass would be almost flat not curving to a point like it appears there. I doubt it will be as bad as it looks.

gee there are some idiots on here.

you've got 2 choices. you sit at the old ground and have a sponsors sign at waist height which you can't see through, or you have a see through glass panel. either way, something needs to be there to stop geriatrics and idiots on bigfooty that cant grasp this concept from falling down to the lower levels.

sure theres heaps of people who would be happy to take your place in the stadium. how bout stfu and give up your memberships - someone will gladly take it

not tough. just practical. not an idiot. try it sometime

I have sat in many seats at Subi, including the front row. View of the ground was perfectly fine. Nothing blocking sightlines. Amazingly no one ever fell down, and they had a clear view of the whole ground.

So now we have idiots without a membership and have no clue on members issues in the transfer thinking people are not going to be upset with a 50% increase in the price of a ticket from Subi, and not getting a clear uninterrupted view of the damn oval at the same time.

And to top it off you pull out the "wah give up your membership plenty of people to take your spot" card. Well played. Maybe I just want an answer as to what the bloody view is going to be like in the seat I have been assigned and will be paying $720 for. Coz you know, if I don't like it.... there are plenty of other seats for me to choose from when given the chance to swap. How is your seat?

Also shift key, try it sometime. Idiot.

so because nobody has ever fallen off the top railing, they should forego any safety measures?

the only people who will be looking through any glass are those in the front row. I've sat in the members at Spotless the last couple of years, and the only difference is that I'm currently looking through a pool fence. To be honest I'd prefer the pool fence as I can rest my drink on it. but shit, its not worth getting worked up about. you will definitely see the footy, i promise. you'll definitely get the same atmosphere, i promise. you'll definitely get your beer quicker, get in and out of the ground quicker, have a piss quicker, and have better sightlines than anything you've had.

its such a bloody non issue its not funny.

my seats? I was towards the back of block 151 at subi. I'm nearer to the front of 127 in the new stadium. so my seats aren't as good. probably the same height in the end of the day. a bit further toward the 50m line than I wanted. but I'll cop that, because I detest subi and everything that goes with going to that shithole.

also, if you don't like people that cba with correct punctuation when not at work, then this isn't the place for you

My assigned seats are the front row. I can tell you it's an issue. Actually the view of the ground is the only issue I care about. As I have mentioned before its not just the glass. Its the poles holding the glass up. You kinda can't see through them, and they look spaced very regularly, like having to move head left and right like I am watching a tennis match whenever the ball moves regularly . Maybe I am worried about nothing. Maybe the view is great. Would love to know for sure before handing over $720. Fools and money and all....

All the rest is nice, but not essential. I didn't care about waiting for a piss at Subi, or lining up for a beer. If needed I had a piss before the game or waited til half time, missing the Auskick isn't a problem for me. I didn't have anything else to do during half time. View of the game is 100% more important to me than that.

If it makes me an idiot for not wanting to know the answer to a fairly simple question then so be it. If rows 1-3 are blocked by glass and poles then I don't want it. I would rather sit further back, have a clear view, and pay less also!

Working at the moment. Browser refresh and log in again works for me.:D
The "preview" view changes depending on when you look. Go in there now and you'll see that they're all taken. I'm guessing the re-allocation window is still open for some members during the day and shuts down at night.

I've read all the instructions, so I understand I've got a chance of moving location once the window opens up, it's just that the "preview" feature is not telling us the entire story.

It also wouldn't be an easy job, but WCE haven't covered themselves in glory. It looks like a bunch of long-term members, who are used to sitting at ground level on the wing, have been moved into the back rows of the upper tier, and are going to have to pay the extra cash to move back to a seat that is in a similar location i.e. ground level and not 3rd tier.

Anywhere like block 120 at $830 a ticket is the first choice, anywhere from 521 to 515 in a row closer to the front is the second choice, with our current allocation of row 18 in block 521 the last resort.
