so is the 1.5m height for front row of seats the height from ground level (concrete) under seat to grass/arena level? or from seat level?
just doesn't look that high from all pictures I can see?
I cant imagine phil matera walking right up next to the fence and only his head being above the concrete level...

Looking at old drawings it seems that there is slight variations, but the seats are approx 1.5m above the playing surface - so add about 800mm to that for eyeline = 2.3m approx above playing surface for front row.

it will in interesting to see when the fence isn't in the road of patrons especially if your looking down to watch near the boundary

I have loved the way this entire thread has moved around topics - all related - just many different angles within a broad discussion. Enjoyed it!

Thanks one and all:grinning:
Agree. And in another topic, can we get a petition going to have a subway put in?

They've had enough trouble putting in the footbridge, let alone a subway.

Is that the Subway that sells food or a subway transport system? Just checking before I commit to a petition!;):D
Shame on you.
Subway is more than food. Subway is life.

They offered us front row seats about 2 blocks over from the eagles exit race. Admittedly the view isn't as good as the top tier, but after sitting in the front row at subi for so long nothing beats being so up close to the action imo. Pretty happy with this result.

They also told us that we may get asked to wave sponsor flags from time to time (not compulsory), so that rumour is true.

What Category are those seats?

Did you request them? Just wondering how they are allocating those seats out.

I hope you asked for a discount on your membership if being asked to do something like that
