Barooga officials were seen on Sunday showing 2 Bannister brothers and former Seymor & VCFL rep Scanlon around the Club Barooga facilities. Sources say they are once again going all out to get that illusive flag.

You would think that Scanlon would join Daniels at Congupna if he was to play in the Murray league-although he might not be rewarded as well at Congupna. Jordan bannister is joining the AFL as an umpire but his two brothers could be available.

I think the challenge to lead a bottom side up the ladder is far more tempting than coaching the reigning premiers-IMO. You would think Barooga V ??? is half the answer to who is flag fav

Tim Burr, my dear friend all this talk about Daniels bringinging players, watch how many follow him from Queensland to Congupna, how many followed him to Seymour from the Bullants,how many went to Cairns, I my boy was one, he is and will be the best coach i have ever played under at Local level and VFL level and even better bloke..........

Gee I dont know the man personally, but everyone I have spoken too rates him as a coach and bloke. And Im hearing there could be a few leaving Toc, White, Warnett, can anyone confirm this.

I'm sorry you fell for some leg pulling by players I would love to tell you the names who are leaving Cairns and following S.J. to Congupna but won't spoil it for the big man , there are more than a couple, good midfielders, backmen , ruckman,and if they didn't like him then why are they following him.
I know at my club they have told us they want to further their education in football so will follow him. From the time he was with us he was held in high esteem by all. Yes he is tough but very fair

Think you will find these players were probably those who couldn't get a game and blame the coach. SJ is the best coach I have had the privilege to play under and agree whole heartily with No Heart.

I have not seen you around our club TimmBurr,and you seem to know a fair bit by your comments, yes that was an incident that we wish did not happen and both parties where to blame in the end, the very small amount of people you speak of would be not happy with the coach because he stood by his fitness adviser and not the Numurkah boys hence you comments earlier today. And for the record if anyone slept with my wife or girlfriend i would of done the same as our fitness adviser, and why bring this shit to this forum anyway Tim. Move on mate we all have and no, those boys are not heading to Congupna, there goneto Mulwala I believe
