Daniel Johns whilst not a big fan of his music his docuseries "Inside The Mind Of Daniel Johns" is hard to take your eyes and ears away from....

I really wish Johns hadn’t burnt out as he did. He was/is seriously talented. Some of his later stuff with Silverchair was interesting but the other 2 couldn’t keep up and he just gave up.

I’ve got much more appreciation for them now compared to when they were around. Fault line from Frogstomp is an absolute banger, and The Door and Pop Song For Us Rejects are also very very good.

Straight Lines though. It’s pretty much a masterpiece. As is Emotion Sickness. Not many Aussie artists writing tracks like that.

A few weeks ago at a work social club function someone lodged a complaint against the Social Club because in the playlist of music I came up with there were two Michael Jackson songs.

I thought at first someone was taking the piss, but later found out they were being serious.

Whilst trying to avoid the debate of whether he did or didn't do what was accused, am I wrong to be separating the art from the artist?

You’re not wrong. The Karen mustn’t listen to much music or watch movies if they’re going to exclude ones where someone involved did some bad things.

R.I.P. Christine McVie..

Fleetwood Mac were one of those rare bands where every member had a personality and were each given opportunities to be display it.

Not many bands have multiple lead singers. And if they do they seem to be all males. Beatles. Eagles. Pink Floyd.

Can’t think of many as successful that had such diverse lead singers which allowed them to be so versatile.

PS - I’m talking about their classic lineup of Buckingham, Nicks, Fleetwood and McVie x2.

Just got back from the Corner Hotel ....watching Jinjer .... did you go Kilroy?

Gee, they're sound is tight as ......

Hi mate, thanks for thinking of me, but no. I imagine the bragging rights must be huge though!

Never knew they were Ukrainian for starters.

There would have to be some interesting women in the audience I’d imagine.

How many times did you use the word “tight” in describing the performance?

Did you hear that the chick from Brass Against peed on a fan onstage?

It turned out to be planned (and there’s consensual).

She cleaned up after herself.

Mate, you have one of best musical knowledge bases on BF .....although Andrewy is up there

Tight was a term my son uses regularly as a muso .....he did tell me after the show though, each Jinger muso had a click track running thru their earpieces ....which helps explain their tight sound
