Not usually my cup of tea - went to see Dionne Warwick last night.

Holy shit! 77 years old yet that voice! If you lived through the 60s - 80s the nostalgia alone was worth it. One of the most distinctive mainstream voices ever. She is still amazing.

I saw her last year. Thought she was fantastic. I really enjoyed the vegas lounge style show (just a piano, jazz drums and her).

Up to Number 60 on the top 100 albums.

Captain Beefheart and his magic band - Trout Mask Replica.

Truly something else. Getting some weird looks listening to it at work :p

Haha!

I've tried a few times to listen to Trout Mask Replica but can't do it.

Do like some of his other stuff. Safe As Milk for instance.

Check this out. First song is almost unlistenable there's so much random stuff going on. Then around 3 minutes in they crank into "Click Clack" which is glorious and almost a normal song!

Underrated Bruce song. Don't think he plays this much live anymore?
I’ve read a few articles saying The River is one of the saddest songs of all time.

I rate this one more heart breaking. It’s devastating.
