Certainly an acquired taste Randy Newman but a very clever songwriter, always liked this one. Not sure hey shorty would though? ;)
I've found him really difficult to get into but has some high points that I really like

Nup I'm a long time Rolling Stone reader though not so much of late.
Mojo is a bit more geared towards 1960s/70s/80s artists. Worth reading for the reissues section alone. Basically has become my main way of discovering songs/albums from those eras

Massively underrated band

Their late 60s output is up there with the best bands from that era imo. Perhaps lacked the hit singles to break them to a wider audience but their albums are strong

Sittin' All Alone my favourite track of theirs

A song from one of my favourite albums at the moment - Stories from The City, Stories from the Sea.

Underrated?

A band consisting of Paul Rodgers , Paul Kossoff, Andy Fraser and Simon Kirke.....will never be underrated!

They were known as the band that were loved by the muso's. Lennon, Harrison, Richards etc were fans,

Paul Rodgers my No.1 Rock Singer of all time just ahead of Steve Winwood and Robert Plant....Singer/Songwriter Warren Zevon always held a special place in my heart if you're talking underrated.

Fire and Water is in my all time top 10. An amazing album.
