watched a doco that featured him years ago and he said he was banned for 10 years and that the incident absolutely destroyed his life. Everywhere he went people would scream out "gotta get the boy off" and that he would love to punch the commentator slug jordan for his comments which haunted him to that day. He basically gave up trying to play footy again.

The thing is all he had to do was move up north and people wouldn't have a clue who he was and what he did, but no like most stupid people in this country he stayed put and copped it.

His fault on all fronts.

His ban was reduced to 6 years and he played football in the Diamond Valley league.
