I had to shake my head at this line "I have never cooked this dish before".

WTF?!?!?! Perhaps a practice run once or twice before a national TV show might be a good idea... i dunno I'm just tossing ideas up in the air here... also looking up the cooking time on the internet might be good too.

How could they possibly think that the bird would only take 15 minutes to cook.

They took 6 hours to serve the meals. You would have walked out of any restaurant and told them to jam it.

2nd time theyve taken that long as well. I'd be surprised if they make it past the first couple of eliminations

I was only part watching the show tonight but heard them say putting the birds in for 15 minutes and thought wtf that isn't long enough, especially since they seemed to take straight out if the fridge and not bring them to room temperature before cooking

Missed last night - what score did they get?

They're rated 2nd last atm. Can't think of the score they got tho for the life of me...

I think from the teams they got 6, 6, 5, 5 and 4.
Judges, 4, 3, 8, 7, 8, 8.
Something like that? I think they were a bit lucky to get those 8s, the wait time on the main was 3 hours.

Do the judges actually wait like everyone else??? I seem to notice they always get cut out of the shot when that happens.

They're probably down the road at the pub :D

Been thinking something similar. You rarely see them in shot except for one question or joke. And you hardly ever see Pete and Manu talking informally to each other. I almost imagine they sit in the lounge room watching TV in between dishes, or maybe they have a Channel 7 Caravan outside.

The rest of them also start to act like gooses after waiting 2 hours for a dish, and you suspect they might be a little more self-conscious with the two judges there.

I hope Dave does stuff up. He has been a real prick saying everything is bad even when the judges say it's good.

I don't think his heart is in the amount of work required to go far into the show.

I'm sick of Chloe and Kelly. They are just so fake. After seeing more of Chloe this round you can tell her face is plastic and it's scary.

But if Dave goes who is going to criticise the dishes before they even come out.

Maybe they start acting silly because they have been drinking for 2 hours straight without anything to eat.

They have a secret weapon for that.

If I was a betting woman, I would bet on this. ;)

I just hope Dave's pants get ironed in time. That is all I'm concerned about tonight.

I love how Corrine acts like she is an independent woman but really isn't. "Iron my pants bitch" lol

am I alone in thinking this show is a set up?

Also when they go to the persons house, where the hell are they walking from? The bus stop?

Lol, nah they make them walk from the airport.

What about when the person at the front turns and says "Ready?" Lol why?!?!?!

And why do I watch this crap?

I only watch it cause my girlfriend watches it. But every night I'm in trouble for calling it out as being fake as hell and trying to ruin it for her apparently. Not a completely horrible show. I have had to sit through much worse so I won't complain too much.

One thing I really hate is the amature judges on the show. You get one couple who will be all like "hmm, the meal wasnt that great and it took a while to come out so they lose points for that. We'll give them a 7." and then you see the next couple come out and be like "that was really good. I really liked the dessert. We're going to give them a 7." So amature.

And last night when the power went out for about 10 seconds. They didnt go and have a look or do anything. Just kept on trying to make stuff. Clearly a set up. And such a big build up too for nothing.
