Game Day NAB 2 - v Adelaide at Mt Barker

The interesting point for me is that RTB said that even the preseason games were reward for players effort. Therefore, much to my disappointment, it appears that Crozier has not put in as much as others playing tomorrow, Unless he has been injured recently which I have not seen anyone report. Crozier has all the tools to be a best 22 player with the added bonus of being a deadly shot on goal, what the heck is going on??
I'm basing this on no quantifiable evidence other than a vibe, but Crozier's always seemed like he's coasted to me.

Crozier will be trade after 2016 season end such a waste , I think he just can't play under ross (Duffy came to mind). Both play a good game against Geelong one is gone another will follow. I think his type more suite to bulldog, Richmond team.

So it may have taken over an hour to erect the family tent, but am now enjoying a few cold ones at the Mt Barker caravan park. Looking forward to tomorrow. Community is very excited - purple and white balloons adorn the entrance to IGA.

Went to Dukes Winery in the Porongurups today. Great fella there. Planted his first vine at 59. Now in his 80s, he's looking forward to putting on his purple braces for tomorrow's game.

I think he can play under Ross. He's much more defensively minded than Duffy. I just think he hasn't fully committed to being a footy player yet, but perhaps likes the lifestyle that being a footy player affords. Maybe the penny will drop and maybe it won't.

Live music at the Boston Brewery in Denmark, any more beers and midday at Mt Barker is looking dodgy :)
I just ate pizzas with my brother and his wife at Boston Brewery. The place was quite packed outside where the music was playing. Where you staying at. Have you been to the ground? Parking into be via McDonald Road off Muir's Highway but you have to take Taylor off Muir's then left into MCDonald as I found out when I went and had a look at Sounness Park. Locals have done a great job preparing the place with portable stand and white seats around the outside of the boundary fence. Enjoy your stay and see you at the game.:)

Hey DannyTheDoorman, how good is the weather! Staying at Celestine Retreat up on Mt Shadforth. Thanks for the heads up, we are going to get there nice and early just in case. Looking forward to it, enjoy the game :)

It would certainly explain why he has been shot down by RTB so far this year. All about reward for the work done which is fair enough.

Crozier can be a real forward threat who instead of hesitating like others in the team always attempts the shot on goal. Also a strong tackler, bloody waste of talent if he can't get himself on the park

Re-watched round 9 last night... if that doesn't get you keen for this arvos game nothing will!

Even though we lost to you guys, we appreciated Walsh doing what few coaches do, play the Clubs best player head to head on the best player in the comp in Fyfe that night. What we got was truly a modern day epic. Fyfe was arguably at the peak of his career to date on that night.

R.I.P Walsh

Hope not and Col never bothered to get himself AFL fit but certainly this has been a kick in the pants to Croz who should be right in the selection reckoning and clearly isn't. I wonder if he is enjoying the social life a bit too much (theory based on zero evidence).

Dukes is my favorite winery of the south west, such nice wines and quality people running the joint always drop in when I'm in the area.

With respect to Walsh, Lyon was also coaching during that game, and he didn't put a run with player on Dangerfield, which I would think happens most games for him.

Yeah, he's still too slight for an AFL player. He also has all the attributes that Ross would be looking for but he hasn't put it together consistently.
meima may be having a laugh but the Sylvia comparison might not be too far off in terms of wasted talent due to questionable application.

Jumping the gun?

Looks like it's going to be quite cool today. Very grey looking day. I am staying near Denmark Airport just off Mt Barker-Denmark Rd runs off Muir's Hwy. Try Mrs Jones's for breakfast in Denmark it's around the back of the IGA and it does lunch and dinner.

Crozier could just be one player that takes longer to become consistent. That half forward role he plays is very difficult. If he didn't have the work ethic he would not still be on the list.

I wish I had of made the trip for the game, keen to hear a match report after if anyone can be bothered!
