Really not happy that WCE and Carlton are playing at 4.10pm on Friday as it is a work day and the long weekend. As I live in Perth and work I will probably have to take half day off. Would of preferred it to start later like 6pm as it could be hot even at that time of day. At least the train now runs to Mandurah hopefully there will be buses who can transfer people to Rushton Park and back to the train station.

Norwood is a very odd location for us to play Port Adelaide (comparison would be us hosting an interstate team at Fremantle Oval) but I'm not complaining since we only visited Adelaide once last season.
We're playing a "home" game at Freo's WAFL affiliate's home ground...

So we've got the following four games:

Allstars (Leederville Oval) - 6:10pm, Friday 20 February

Carlton (Mandurah) - 4:10pm, Friday 27 February

Port (Norwood Oval) - 1:40pm(WST), Sunday 8 March (this one not televised, although Port may put it on their website)

Fremantle (Subiaco) - 4:10pm, Sunday 22 March

This is ahead of our season opener against the Doggies on Saturday 4 April.

If we're playing 26 per game (I think that's how it works, 6 on the bench and two subs), then that means everyone gets 2.25 games on average.

So perhaps 20 players would play three games, around 18 two games and 8 just the one game. Or perhaps they'd take a completely different approach. I think they should definitely give everyone at least one game, especially considering we have the four practice matches. You'd think we'd need to play our best team against Freo, considering it's the only game in the month before the season opener.

What approach do you think we should take with player management?

What players are you most looking forward to seeing? For me it's Hotline, Duggan, Sheed, Wellingham, Lucas, Brophy and Cavka.

Just play our seconds against the All stars.

It's the most irrelevant game of the nab challenge, and if we ever wanted to expose developing players to a higher intensity, that would be it.

The other games we should just be focussing on implementing the game plan we'll be deciding to go with in 2015.

whats the deal with this all-stars game? how did we end up with it?
Might have just been our turn.

Would have been dead against it had it involved a meaningless trip to the NT, but its a good chance to give the young fellas a game early on and then ramp it up for the rest of the preseason

I wonder just how much of an all stars team it will be?

Could be powerful as f**k

Franklin, Wingard, Jetta, Hill, Hill, Ryder, Bennell, Martin, Burgoyne, Christensen

Main issue will be whether Port and Sydney risk Ryder and Franklin - if not it'll be a bit of a midget crew

EDIT: forgot Rioli, Yarran, Varcoe, Pearce,
