NAB cup 2015

No West Coast game in Sydney this year. Went to our game last year against the Swans which was Buddy's first pre season game. Good fun but I was crazy outnumbered.

Hopefully we have a relatively full squad to pick from including rookies so players can be managed and rotated effectively. For example I wouldn't want to play Xavier Ellis in all the games otherwise he's likely to miss at least one game in the first half of the year with injury knowing his injury luck.

As for personal attendance I'm going to try and get to the Swans V Dockers at Drummoyne on the 15th of March

Looking forward to another False Dawn...sorry NAB...Cup campaign from the lads

It's a bit like the feeling after we bully a crap team at home by 10 goals, only to pull our pants down the following week playing someone of actual quality.

Masto gets to think he's hot shit walking around the club for a week i guess.

No Yeo?

I'd rather give him as many midfield minutes as possible considering he missed a chunk of the preseason and he's still developing in that role.

**** Priddis off.

I was just giving him an extra week with his hand.

Then play him in the midfield for all three of our NAB Cup games.

Is yeo available ? Was still training with a protective glove last preseason update .
But yes yeo should play in the guts for every preseason game possible .
Even get him tagging fyfe in the freo game

B: Butler - Brown - Nelson
HB: Hurn - Barrass - Schofield
C: Sheppard - Priddis - Cripps
HF: Karpany - Kennedy - Newman
F: Sinclair - McInnes - Lamb

R: Naitanui - Wellingham - Shuey
I/C: Tunbridge - Powell - Sheed - Hill - Main - Colledge

S: Duggan - Adamson

I think Waters is supposed to start against Carlton. Pretty comfortable that neither of Wellingham or Hill would qualify for the all stars. And surely neither of Karpany or Newman.

Not exactly a easy start but will test the squad. Hopefully the younger crew can pick a few things up in game

Will this be televised? **** I wish I was in Perth.

Wellingham and Newman both played in the last one vs Richmond so you never know. Their full team wasn't available last time so I would expect the same this time. Imagine, Franklin playing alongside Wingard, Jetta, Ryder, Yarran, Martin, Bennell, Burgoyne, Rioli, Hill x 2 etc If the all-stars play a full team and take it seriously they would mop the floor with us.

Certainly can't underestimate them, but being a practice match means that the result won't be that important, especially if we play a lot of kids, although we wouldn't really want to be thrashed.
