I suppose it's better if McGinnity spuds up in a pre-season match rather than in the actual season.

His speed and ferocity seem to save him from the chop every year. Would always be in our bottom handful of players
Bulldogs have recently improved in the height department, not as short as previous years. Unfortunately for them it's the midfield that has taken the biggest hit.
Not downplaying what they do have, but Crameri might be a bit underdone with no pre-season games (may not even play)
I don't rate Boyd to do much (no doubt will be a fantastic player, but not just yet).

Grant is meh
Redpath too young.
The real threat lies in their smalls where they are fantastic.
Bont, Dalhaus, Stringer, Honeychurch, Hrovat
A lot of those guys are still young, but they are a definite threat.
We are worrying about the Bulldogs?
We aren't very good, we should be worrying about every team.

Maybe, that was a long time ago, I don't like to think too much about 2010. Freo beat us twice the year we won the flag, doesn't mean anything.
I'm nervous before any game though, so I'll naturally feel like we are always a chance to lose.

Did anyone else notice we had one of the first nab games and ended up with the last one. How did that work out? On the other hand the bombers had 3 games in the space of less than 2 weeks
i seem to recall someone on this board was adamant we should have traded brown during the trade period. That would have been awesome.

He just gets a lot of the ball at WAFL level and sprays it there, then because the rest of our list is so underwhelming he gets picked. He should not be anywhere near the afl side come round one or we are cactus..

Apart from cripps its been a while since we have had a new small/medium forward warranting selection .
