Match discussion can go in here. BF will be running a chat window.

Hi, does anybody know if the rotation cap will be lifted for the game tonight?
I hear it has been for other practice matches going on this weekend.
Seeing's the nab cup g.f. is still essentially a practice match shouldn't it be removed
from this game also?
Or does the practice match label depart once prize money attached?
Go Blues!!

NAB Cup rules apply for the GF, so as far as I'm aware - no the cap will not be lifted.

Meanwhile all other clubs (to my knowledge) are playing this weekend under regular H&A season rules.

Essentially we are at a disadvantage for making the NAB Cup GF which is a complete and utter farce.

Yeah that's what I thought. I hoped the A.F.L. would have collected enough data over the matches played to exempt this game (considering other clubs are playing under reg H&A rules. It does seem like a potential penalty for making the showcase doesn't it? Hopefully no injuries so it becomes a moot point. If someone one from either team tweaks something late in the game though...

Re:Game - Looking fwd to it. Hopefully we pick up a win whilst Mick is doing his final tinkering to sort out rnd1 team. Go captain Smurf. Go Blues!

For some reason tonights game feels like the start of the season. I'd be suprised if we hold anything back, with the exception of keeping some players fresh for round one, ie: limited ground time for Judd, et. al.

On Judd, reports he might spend some time down back. Seeing as he's always been in the middle it's hard even to imagine how he'd go keeping wraps on an opposition forward? On the other hand salivating at the thought of Judd teaming up with Yarran.

Read somewhere that Malthouse has been roping off Princess Park to replicate the dimensions of Docklands Stadium. Will be interesting to see if this helps the Blues this season (and tonight).

Go Blues....
