I'm not taking away from how fab Wil is, but the implication of skewing it the way you have, diminshes the outstanding performance of Neale.
On 360, Gerard was plying his case and countering Rievolt, who was on the voting panel for N.S.
They showed a reel of tiny helpful moments instigated by Lachie. All of them mattered and helped bring victory.

I wasn’t diminishing Neale, he was super - just backing a view from someone who played footy at elite level for a very long time that players such as Ah Chee and Lohmann were deserving of votes. Sometimes when considering the best players, it is about assessing the opportunities as well as the outcomes.
Neale had 28 CBA. Lohmann and Ah Chee had 0. That’s a big difference in the opportunity to impact.
