get used to it man, players like watts, cloke, franklin, riewoldt etc will be "rested" against port to protect them from hurricane trengove abusing them and sending them home crying like babies

Teams are up for Friday night

Missing

Hartlett (as we all know)
Banner (he didn't make the best players against centrals... Anyone have an update?)
Phillips ("he poke me in da eye".. "Captain Insano shows no mercy")
Blee
Moore
Pittard (hopefully he shows some form the the SANFL before returning)
Brett Ebert (?)
Newton (poor benny, hopefully see him later in the year)
Ah Chee

Looks pretty full strength to me!!!

Phillips eye almost came out of its socket and he played on
with blurred vision in one eye unaware of the damage

Sorry have to say childish comment very poor taste

Brett for Magarey.

yeah and my tip

Port by 34, Westhoff will have a quite, Young to have his best game yet, Butcher andother 3 goals Midfield to work even better without hartlett there that will create cries to play him off halfback full time

Surprised Salopek was named after he broke his nose, shows that he is keen and wanting to play

I'm not sure I understand the dealio.

Port Members get free entry, I get that.

Do we all have to sit in the Members area on the west wing?
Or are they now opening the ground for all members to sit?
There are conflicting stories floating around and I'd rather not sit in the members like last year's Geelong trial.

Yeah the PAFC website doesn't explain where we can sit very well. And also why would they charge $12 to park in West Lakes mall car park, it's not like people are going to park there if it's free on the Camry Crows training ground.

So that people are aware that West Lakes is charging ... so don't park there.

Sanfl website says members area only. Access to ga to be given depending on attendance. No mention of sanfl members free entry but afl members are granted free entry.

Sanfl cash grab maybe.

That would be surprising and would shock and appall me.

No Rodan is very surprising. Maybe he's not completely over his injury. Also, I wonder if this means Wingard isn't making the Round 1 team or if he's done enough to prove himself for it and Primus is resting him in preparation for Round 1?

Salopek's probably missing Round 1 too, going by that.

EDIT: Just saw Wingard has soreness, so that's why he's not playing.

I'm glad Aaron Young is in there! His SANFL write up was very nice and when I saw there was no "reserves" next to the Roosters I was like whoa, this kid has worked hard, improved his game and is doing all the right things.

Hopefully this continues and he has a good showing tonight. I like his strength in a tackle and he has some X-Factor flair about him.

edit: A team list looks weird when the lowest number is 5.

Nice team. Would of liked to see Bobby, Chad and Rodan but meh. I'm fine with Rodan missing, we should be grateful that he has actually had his first pre season for a couple years so he's already done a lot more than usual. Hopefully he can surprise a few people this season.

edit: Will unfortunately be in the car all night tonight, what radio stations is this on? Just 5AA?

Looks like a few players are fighting it out for round 1.

Stewart v Westhoff?
Pfeiffer v Cornes?
Thomas v Broadbent?
