..... Does anyone know how Robbie Gray pulled up after hit out with Westies?
The game doesn't start until 1900.

Senior coach Ken Hinkley told FIVEaa that Gray’s return on 7.00pm on Saturday night as part of the trial team for SANFL club West Adelaide's will be the final stage of his rehabilitation.

Being at the game I tip my hat to the 5k that were there. What a great atmosphere in the members stand.

You can feel the club is alive again! Supporters are starting to believe again! The team is playing the football we have been desperately wanting to see for 3-4 years now.

I am trying my best to stay calm until we are 3-4 rounds into the season but man am i excited by what i see! Particularly by those who were not at the club last year.

I have a feeling Boak is going to have a big year. To see Wines as well in the flesh for the first time, man that kid is going to be good.

EFA.

It's hard to believe he's 18.

Mumford looked so FAT today. Brad Ebert out-rucked him at one throw in so I'm not surprised our rucks ran over him, especially Redden who looked fitter than ever.
Also, I think Wines was matched up on Josh Kennedy for the majority of his half and beat him convincingly :thumbsu:
I :hearts: Tom Jonas. He's like a silent assassin and he's just added Adam Goodes to his quality list of successful hits.

The difference?

PAFC pre 2013 had muscle on the arms to impress the girls

2013 PAFC have stronger legs, strength through the core and fitness.

Who recruited and retain the last fitness turkey?

We went from having one of the strongest ruck combinations (Lade, Primus and Brogan) to one of the weakest. But I think our rucks will be more competitive this year. Lobbe and Redden both played well today. A lot to like about Lobbe's game. Rucked well and did a lot of hard work when the ball hit the ground. He has nice skills to boot.

The biggest plus for me with Redden is his improved level of fitness. He's running out games a lot better. How many times was he subbed out early last season because of exhaustion.

First time I've seen Goodes and thought Father Time may be catching up with him.

Notorious slow starter. Usually takes him till round 5 to hit his straps

Wait...so what happened to it being on fox?

That's a bloody good question, I almost didn't go today because I thought it was going to be televised, I didn't realise it wasn't.

I believe Amanda takes no prisoners. Did Graham look suitably chagrined for his past misdemeanors?

He looked more embalmed than anything. Maybe he could step in for Hugo Chavez? ;)

Power shut down reigning premiers
While it was an ugly game, the stats were telling; the Power led the Swans in contested possessions 145-138 and inside 50s 54-43, while tackles were almost even at 77-78.

But more than knocking off the reigning premiers, Hinkley said it was the consistency of his side's performance after last week's win over West Coast that pleased him most.

"The performance off the back of last week I think [is what I was looking for] it was really important for us to back up last week's game," he said.

"Regardless of the result, it was how we went about it and today we were again really strong."

Studly did not look very well at all, wouldn't be surprised if it comes out he has a few health issues. On the other hand Kochie looked god like when he walked past is.

Was next to the box. Nice comfy seats there. Am normally directly across the other side of the ground, so interesting to see how the process went.

Kochie was in there early.

Nicks is much bigger than I thought.

Good to see Toby in the box next to Ken, doing the board work I guess.

Was interested to see that Apple laptops were being used, and not a mouse in sight. Three young guys using them and one older. Well young to me anyway - its all relative.

Richardson's face doesn't give much away.

Everyone looked calm and composed, professional. No histrionics.

it will be shocking if we lose to melbourne at the G aye. can't pick a shitter team to face round 1 at that sweet ground.

Jonas was great, but this photo concerns me.
