Canterbury Bulldogs vs South Sydney Rabbitohs.

Go Doggies!

In the AFL Sydney v Freo
Sounds good to me.
Unlike 2012 though, thanks to scheduling(unless there's a replay in the AFL) I won't have to do the double on the one weekend & can savour for longer the warm, satisfying feeling that victory brings.
Would be one mighty hangover to take into the next weekend, though;)
Sydney v Freo

Firstly, obsessed.

Secondly, you're assuming Jobe will be allowed to play.
Yeah he might still be injured. Good point.

Btw there is a certain amount of irony being called obsessed by a bloke that stalks essendon match threads with tear filled posts when we're winning.

Yes "allowed to play" was of course referring to his injury.

So posting in Match Day thread = stalking... LOL! Get over yourselves!

Sydney have peaked a bit early. Will come back to the field with Geelong or Hawthorn able to beat them in a knock out final.

Hawks need to get over their injuries. We have guys that have returned but have much lower output than we'd like. Looking a lot like Sydney last year but we'll see.

Freo will get there. Hopefully against the hawks. The whole week leading up the granny would be about how Freo can't possibly lose because of revenge - would be very similar to the manic pressure lead up.

Wow, it's honestly just sad now. You guys won, the fact there is somehow lingering resentment over THIS is simply baffling.

Why?

Only arrogant flogs would say that the top four, much less the grand final participants is set with six weeks of the home and away remaining.

I certainly wouldn't be writing off the roos. They have beaten everyone in the current top 4 including Sydney in Sydney and Freo and perth. Don't know why people can't give them credit for that

You get credit for that, then piss it up the wall against the other teams. It's just the difference between an unquestioned top 4 contender and an inconsistent smokey. It's not a terrible label, it's just a label.

Because Sydney were playing at a completely different standard at the start of the season - GWS and Collingwood also beat them. Those early wins don't reflect a whole lot on those teams' ability.

Am I the only one who don't see North as any sort of threat? Even if they climb there way into the top 4? As many have mention they beat Sydney when they were at their worst, they also beat Hawthorn when they were in a vulnerable state, the Port win was impressive and they also beat Freo after we'd played the flattest I've seen us play since our first derby with Ross.

If they manage top 4 I'll be hoping like hell we get to play them week 1 because I feel they a class below the best teams at them moment (Freo, Sydney, Hawthorn) and I feel Freo won't be so complacent when playing them next time.

Also keep in mind that all the top 4 (bar Geelong) will want some form of 'revenge' against them.

I could see North making the Top 4. Would still be very tough to make the GF from there. Would set them up well for next year though.
