brown was almost back to his best if a few games in the 2nd half of the season. He just missed a few goals that's all

yeh i agree. should b in line for a terrific 2007 if he can regain his fitness and strength/mobility in his leg which should happen over pre-season.
obviously wont have lost any magic and look forward to him being the matchwinner he was at the start of last year, and showed glimpses of just before he did his hammy.

I found the opposite when I had a similar operation. The rod came out and 2 days later the leg felt better than it had for 12 months, and for the first time I felt comfortable stepping off a single step.
I really cant understand how your mate could say that Tambo. The trauma your leg goes through having the rod inserted in pretty full on stuff, where some people are taking painkillers 2 weeks after the operation... Not to mention it's impossible to sleep for a week without Tmazapans (sleepin tabs) and that fact you're *****ing in a bottle for a week as its too painful to get out of bed for awhile.
One good thing about the morphine they give you is that it makes you constipated for a week and you have no appetite... Id have hated to have tried to get to and sit on a toilet within the first couple days of leaving hospital.
Although you do mention he had marrow that needed cutting away. Im not sure if this is normal or not and have no idea if it happened to me, as I was never told a thing by the doctors at any stage of my recovery/operations.
Also, I looked after my leg extremley well, giving it every chance of healing 100%. I also smoked a truckload of pot too, so maybe that helped somehow
Would like to know whether he'd be worth picking up in Dream Team next year.
No doubt, he'll have a reduced price for him, there was a time last year where he was the most expensive forward in the game.
However, i reckon it might be worth a punt to pick up Browny.
